Levrone is Back!

I was thinking the same thing. He is a true freak to be able to grow off that half-ass workout intensity. I would have guessed he would have been more cut around the waist based on how skinny his neck and face are. I wonder how old he is now?

Guy, if you saw me lift you might think the same thing. If you have been doing this for decades, you can guarantee that you understand your body more than anyone. This also becomes much easier to get into the same groove than some newbie. It doesn’t mean someone is lacking intensity simply because they

aren’t making enough weird faces or loud noises. What matters is PROGRESS, not how much you can fake the strain to anyone watching.

This guy has done those exercises for over 20 years and made more progress than even most pro bodybuilders ever will. His intensity level is just fine whether he shows it outwardly or not.

He is in his 40’s. Avoiding injury takes top priority.

Well, I recall him mention that his weight and intensity is only at a fraction of his competitive days.
optheta wrote:
Check his site now he has a starting pic. He looks a lot bigger in that pic then he did in the Burning Hollywood Skit he did, wierd…
I’m just going by memory, but to me he looks the same, just not as lean as he was in that skit.

(EDIT: In response to intensity-from-facial-expression discussion)

Exactly. People vary in this.

I never met him, but I understand that for example Arthur Jones made a point to make no facial expressions at all, no matter how brutal his efforts became. (When he trained.) He thought it wasted energy that was better put to the lift.

Others have no such philosophy but don’t make that much faces.

Some are making all kinds of facial contortions with still 8 or 10 reps left to go.

One CANNOT judge others this way.

But how do you know he uses the word “intensity” as you do? He may not mean grimacing. Actually I doubt he does.

Day 3: Back and biceps

He has ridiculous good genetics. Did you see how good his arms were? His blog said that he was already back to 18 inches.
Nice bicep!

Yeah,… that ‘before’ shot looks typical of many of those BS ads you see in magazines… he is obviously larger than that ‘burning hollywood’ thing he did,… definitely looks like an aging athlete. My middle brother was Mr. Super-Jock back in the day, but now, Business owner, mortgage, mid 30’s… well, although he still sports what most would call ‘guns’, his build is similar to Levrone’s in that pic. Sure he could always get it back,… but his body certainly won’t respond like it used to. Of course Kevin’s body probably got so used to being his old weight for so many years, that it may have been more work keeping himself at this size.

I know, that’s why I’m not too sold on this whole thing.

Wow I had no idea he was 45, he looks closer to 35. That would make a succesful transformation all the more impressive

Way to miss my entire post stud. I’ll recap for you with the cliff’s notes so you don’t have to do all that nasty reading and comprehension.

Obviously bicepenvy and silkdagger are taking too much Ritalin to focus and read.

Oh, sorry bout that, was I just throwing a sweeping drug generalization out there??

And just in case you missed it, I don’t care if they’re using steroids.

dude why drag me into it…al right then.
A: I dont give a fuck IF he roids. not my body. B: I wanted to know IF you could do it natural as the side effects of roids with out one hell of a doctor to keep you healthy and even then are VERY bad, are well documented. C: never seen the guy till this thread but I’ll tell you roids or not thats some cold hard truth from the iron there! hes worked for it! dude is amazing

I honestly have no idea how he never won the Mr. O. Truly Awesome physique.
He was awesome in his prime and will most likely look incredible again when finished.
I always heard that he spent a few months out of the year not training. This is not like Ronnie Coleman, who took one or so months to recover, this is multiple months. I seem to remember other pros joking about this as well. That may be part of the reason he never won. It was just too much time off when others around him were not sitting idle.

fucking asshole has been working out for a week and is already bigger than me. fuck my life.

He’s Kevin Levrone, maybe 1 out of 5 people that could actually have a chance of pulling something like this off.

When I stood next to him at the Arnold, both of us in jeans and jackets, we looked about the same size, so how is it gonna make me feel when that fucker is 245 lean by the end of the summer.

make sure you get the biceps

lulz

HAHAHAHA Classic.

Please, feel free to link a well documented study on steroid use that shows all these VERY bad side effects.

You and your ignorance can either gtfo or stop talking about things you don’t know shit about, thanks.

I never new HRT was in fact killing people, those bastards tricked us!

“Don’t put the camera TOO far away, and make sure you get the biceps!”

LMFAO!!!

Levrone is great.

His intensity looks the same as when he was training for Olympia.

I’m sure he knows what he is doing.
