C’mon-- how can anyone not be a little motivated by this guy? I love his enthusiasm. I found myself counting along with him… 17! 18! 19! 20![/quote]

“two…three…four…five…(see that!)…uh…seven”

“See that!”, he just knows when the camereman is zooming in on the arm. he’s a showman and makes following his clips that much more fun than most other BBers.

Note to others, do not, I repeat DO NOT, look at the thread over at Darden’s site where they are talking about this thread.

I can imagine…

I didn’t even know Dardin had a website…but that is exactly what this site is headed towards.

If TC hadn’t created the T-Cell, this entire forum would have simply been overrun with people who make little progress but want to be heard.

They won’t get off the subject of steroids because people like that never make much progress. His results are mind blowing to them even more than here.

They have to believe the only thing that makes people grow beyond average is steroids. Otherwise, they would have to look for the problem in what they are doing.

Darden’s site and the GetBig forums are pretty much the places you want to go if you ever feel that you are too motivated.

I don’t get why they even bother to show up at the gym… (like, 2 days a month… Can’t have that overtraining-thing happen now, do we?)
Or maybe it’s the same situation as we saw in our local “who here actually trains?” thread. Bunch of guys who love to discuss, diss, argue and read studies and worship certain fad-authors, but who don’t actually do any real strength training.

Darden even went on the forums(he rarely does) and told them that strength progression in the 8-12 rep range was the most important thing, even more important then intensity, or fear of overtraining.

It seems the message missed the mark.

who the fuck is Dardin?

even if you took steroids you would not go from untrained to leg pressing 10 plates for reps in a month. if you think thats possible youre a fucking idiot.

how can you progress in the 8-12 range without intensity?

How was it received? (not at all?

Once the post left the front page, it was completely forgotten.

There are maybe 3 people on that board with a physique worth a damn, I like Darden’s books so I tried to visit every now and then, but its just too difficult to weed through the shit.

Half the threads are about if your reps should be a 5/5 tempo or a 10/10 tempo. If you say you are using more then 225 for any exercise the conclusion is that you need to slow down your rep speed. Its incredible frustrating.

Considering that and some of the other topics/general opinions there, it’s understandable that darden himself rarely chimes in anymore

wait, if you lift heavy weight you need to go slower?

i guess theyve never tried lifting near their max or else they’d know that theres no other option but for the bar to move slow lol.

i think if the bar moves too fast you need to add more weight. but you should always lift the weight as fast as possible so that no matter whether it’s the bar or 315 you should use the same explosiveness.

Don’t know if you were being sarcastic, but from his site:

“I’m training hard, eating right, getting rest and I’m on the right supplement - a mixture of things that worked in my past, combined with some cutting-edge new ingredients that I’ve been curious about.”

Well, Levrone has been and will always remain a beast.
I mean WTF? ;D
Look at his arms in the first videos and look at his arms in the latest ones - the difference is insane.

5 lbs a week? I gained 11 lbs in two weeks once off just test (1,2oo mgs 1st week, 1,000 mgs the next week) . and lost a GRIP of fat at the same time, so that’s like 15-18 lbs of muscle in two weeks. I’m sure he could do more but maybe wants to keep it a little lower key or something

He has these little things he says that are quite funny to me.

Like while briefly hitting the leg shots, after having admitted that they need work to catch up to what he’s accomplished thus far with the upper body: “Got a little something going on here… Uh oh, that’s it.”
