Know what’s kinda sad?

I used to think 19" arms would be MASSIVE

sure, his arms are big just not stupidly big as they used to be.

they must’ve been what 22-23" at his prime?

I too thought they didn’t look THAT big but who really knows. He could have inflated that a bit could be a pumped measurement.
In a video of him doing 100lb dumbbell curls, he said they were 25’'. He may have been referring to pumped size.

Time to sell some supplements!

Read some of the comments on that video. One guy called Levrone out on using drugs. Levrone replied by stating he would get drug tested to ensure his credibility.

I don’t know why he can’t just flat out sell the product…who actually falls for all the marketing hype? Hinting at a secret ingredient just does not lure me to buy a product.

hmm wierd that hes not taking protein powder

I’m sure he is.

he’s all natural bro. so i dont think he is.

Don’t know if you were being sarcastic, but from his site:

“I’m training hard, eating right, getting rest and I’m on the right supplement - a mixture of things that worked in my past, combined with some cutting-edge new ingredients that I’ve been curious about.”
if that is true, then he is lying about being natural.

Whine whine whine. First people liked the blog and the video. Oh it was great. But now he is selling a supplement. Damn that Levrone! Why doesn’t he just sell the supplement instead of doing this blog and posting the pictures and everything? I feel so cheated and used! I want my professional bodybuilders to make no money from bb’ing related ventures. Etc, etc, etc. What whiners.

You got to admit though him trying to build his “Hype Machine” has totally backfired, hes doing it really shitty. Like trying to be all sneaky about when anybody that pays attention knows what he is doing its just kinda weird how hes going about doing it

I think this might be similar to how Bill is thinking.

WHO GIVES A FUCK. Wow, you’re so clever figuring out that he’s trying to make something out of this attention.

FUCK

Just watch the guy train and enjoy how much progress someone can make!!

FUCK

If this is the tactic he came up with, he is a horrible salesman. It’s still fun to watch the vids though.

Yeah shit, how dare he. He should at least have gone and got a marketing degree first.

As long as the tone of the blog and videos doesn’t change, and he keeps making progress and documenting it, I don’t care if he sells stuff, or if the whole reason he’s doing this is for attention to advertise. I like it.

I think your the one crying Q_Q all i was doing is criticizing his marketing strategy i think he could have pulled it off better that’s all

I’m not whining at all, just stating that I think these marketing tactics are use less. He should be selling a product, or a line of products but I would prefer if he just flat out said I’m going to use this, and this ect. But Biotest takes the same approach so some of these strategies must be working.

Anyway, back on topic. Here is todays video:

No shit. Unfortunately, it is the nature of many people to try and find the negative in pretty much anything they are exposed to.

I very quickly got tired of reading the comments to his blog for that very reason.

Wait, so visibly making that much progress and video taping every significant workout…and then stating you used Supplement X to do it is “use less marketing”? The Bow-Flex makes TONS of money by showing people who OBVIOUSLY didn’t make most of their progress using that machine yet you think Levrone’s tactics make no sense?

Honestly, what is wrong with people? This man has to make a living as well yet it is like if people sense that someone in the public eye is trying to put food on the table that this is wrong in some way.

How many of you complaining work for free or have shown better business moves than this?

I dont give a fuck if he’s trying to sell something… Whats wrong with trying to sell something? He’s still achieving the goal he set out and thats why i watching the videos in the first place.

If you dont like what he’s trying to do, ignore it and enjoy watching the progress he’s making.

I honestly dont think this sercet ingredient is much though, all the big dogg supplement companies like ALR, Gaspari,Biotest would have come across it by now. Just like an ad in a magazine, its probably the greatest product on earth.

Yeah, Levrone is really pimping this product, all right.

Sigh

Who really cares if he’s making a supplement, or a line of supplements, or?

Who really cares if his marketing is as good as Mountain Dew, or Pepsi, or?

You don’t like what he’s doing, don’t watch it. Don’t read it.

You do like the videos, you do like the results he’s getting, then get the supplement(s).

I see no difference between what he is doing than Biotest with there Anaconda supplement that is in the works and please don’t tell me you didn’t bite the hook on THAT one. Look at how many people have lined up and posted after any thread that mentions it about needing it.

Sorry, I’m calling it the way I see it.

He’s grown a lot in 5 weeks. It’s amazing to see what someone of that genetic level can achieve. I have to admit after watching that leg workout I am kind of interested in doing some shock treatment will have to wait till the end of this week to see how it went for him.

Not having any idea what sort of money might be available to be behind his supplement marketing, I don’t know how anyone can reasonably crticize what he is doing as being an ineffective plan compared to other marketing methods.

Unless the complaint is that he isn’t being Billy Mays and shouting about the supplement in every video, or that he has plainly said many times that hard work and careful nutrition are all he really needs to be big and that isn’t sufficiently pumping the product? Yet I suspect that if he were loudly attributing everything to the supplement, the same people criticizing his marketing for supposedly being poor would be criticizing him for that possible alternate approach as well.

Also another factor to consider is whether he is being effective in promoting himself as a personality. It seems to me he’s being extremely effective in this regard.

I always liked his physique but really knew nothing about him. Due to the blog I now consider him an engaging, interesting, entertaining, and somewhat charismatic individual. Since his original goal in this was to get ready for an “action hero” movie role – I assume it is a small-scale movie – and he has had acting ambitions for a while, getting himself better known as a personality can only be a good thing. Quite possibly his movie will sell considerably more DVD’s thanks to this blogging effort. I might even buy one myself, when otherwise the chance of that would have been zero.
