I probably could if I wanted to, but I dont.
WTF?? OMG. WTF??
You remember when I posted one year ago or so that I did not want to be the doofus she went home to with her lovers cum on her lips?

Since I turned it down, apparently someone else got the job.
Orion, she’s a disgusting, mentally ill, fucked up creep. You can’t look for the most bizarre people on the internet and then take them as representative of anything but bizarre.

How about the guy who hangs in the attic from his testicles, or the male diaper wearers? Does they represent the concept “men”?
No, you dont understand, I have been the OM, not even intentionally.

If those women are somehow different, noone can tell from the outside.
There must be a way to tell from the outside! Ugh!

Edit: but wait, isn’t that the point of getting to KNOW someone?? Yes, it IS.

Okay, whew, the ground is solid underneath me again.
All these married men think they know their wife.

Every single one.

Yes.

Also yes.

Unfortunately even if you’d told me this in time to avert disaster I wouldn’t have listened to or believed you lol.

I guess it’s the same from this side. Shit, I CAUGHT Tim and still believed him when he said it was not what I thought and that he was going to stop.

I sent a too-far email to Iraq tonight. I’m sad about that. For him, I suppose, not me. It seems like Hockey has taken over all the space in my head and there’s no room for anyone else.

I read a few pages(so, a few pages more than I should have) of that thread, and I can’t believe the thought processes some of them have. Talk about broken. “Oh I won’t do that for my H, our relationship has no spark to it. When I do it for OM thought it makes me so hot, I love it!” Like… I have no words. People are both terrible and stupid.

Hey spar, serious question-

I’m having dinner as I type this. Salmon fillet, steamed broccoli and asparagus. But guess what? No cheese!

Why you keeping all of the cheese to the internetz?
Dude, I JUST pulled out some salmon. WTF??
I had salmon last night!

I have to eat dinner (NY strip) and then come back and gush about how much I like the hockey player.
That’s one hell of a long dinner…
I had to think about clothes in the Spock thread and also write to Iraq, which took some time. And also gush to my girlfriends about Hockey.

It all takes time, Chushin. And now I need to work out.

I’ll gush about him later. And probably at some length. lol

I was thinking about this last night. I’ve been cheated on, and I also have assets that could potentially be at risk. However, as Franz Kafka said:

“You can hold yourself back from the sufferings of the world, that is something you are free to do and it accords with your nature, but perhaps this very holding back is the one suffering you could avoid.”

Ultimately it would be more unsatisfying than taking the risk.

Why are women such teases?
All right, only one of my four scheduled clients have shown today so I have some time to gush.

So, went to the baby shower, which was at the American Legion hall. Every single person there sounded like Good Will Hunting, as Hockey does. People were very various in terms of socioeconomic status, but a lot of laborer types. Everyone was drinking. Hockey’s people were fun and offered a lot of insight into Hockey himself, all good. Family and close friends (people at the shower and a handful of others) seem to get together several times a year for things like their goofy “Fall Classic” golf tournament as well as an annual spring trip to somewhere warm for golf; both fall and winter camping on Hockey’s undeveloped land. It snowed 8" during the fall trip this year and only the hardcore stayed out, the rest drove back to Hockey’s house. Only the hardcore come to the winter one (we don’t live in the south).

After that ended we helped clean up and transport gifts, then went out to a martini jazz bar, then fancy hotel. Up in the morning to go help with the renovations, which is where I probably fell into adoration. It’s a SERIOUS fixer-upper. They’re still tearing stuff apart and the baby is due February 11th. I spent yesterday skim-coating walls with his daughter. I like her so much. (She was totally interviewing me. lol)

Meanwhile, I never heard Hockey say a single grouchy thing. He was cheerful and competent the entire time. The future son-in-law (“the boss”) is clearly in way over his head, and now and then I’d hear Hockey saying something like, “Well, one idea is you could try doing it X way.” And then F-SIL would agree that’s a good way and do it. Very sweet. Apparently he (Hockey) was in new house construction before going to college.

The more I get to know him the more I like him and respect him. I was worried that he might be too conservative and formal or naive or - something - for me, but after seeing him with his wacky family I don’t think so at all. He’s going to go down at some point with an air mattress so he can stay at the house and install the kitchen over a couple of days, not the first time he’s slept there to get a good chunk of work done while his daughter and her boyfriend sleep in their beds.

I think I trust him. He’s happy at work, he pursues his hobbies alone and with friends, he’s just - good. His family isn’t perfect and neither is he, but I’m not either. I almost wonder if he was worried about ME being too proper, and that’s why he brought me to meet everyone en masse.

So we’ll see.

He smells really good.

Satisfied, Chushin? lol

Hey, I’ve got an idea: instead of Testosterone Nation, let’s just call this place the Sisterhood of the Lesbians Who Are All Disabled And Have Overcome All Their Spazzy Shit And Are Really Nice to Everybody And Two of Them Are Black.

How 'bout that?

Do something manly to balance it!

Also? Spazzy shit is NOT unique to the sisterhood (cf. ninety percent of threads in GAL).

Create a new training log. Your strength remains mysterious, but I estimate your power level to be slightly in excess of my own, and I believe you could prove valuable as competition.

Apparently not as much as you are. :-p
Ha. You’re probably right. I’ve been processing some pretty nice feelings.

How has Orion not responded to this yet, anticipation is killing me.

To what?

So far Hockey guy has strong provider game, does install kitchens and seems to be respected by his peers.

8/10.

If I read something from Emily like:

Cant … walk… I might have a dislocated hip…dont care… would bang again…

I shall admit that he is a prince among men and can get away with occasional cuddling, even in the beginning.

I really thought you would have fun with all the handyman work he seemed to do, especially given the short sidetrack about it in Spock’s thread when PowerPuff talked about that book recently.

Color me disappointed.
