We’ve discussed it a good bit, and she has come around to my way of thinking to some degree. She has always looked at me as being very cold toward people because I don’t let too many people into my life and I have cut certain people out of my life without hesitation. I explained to her with some examples exactly why I do that and drew some analogies to the situation at hand. She seems to understand or at least accept that our lives shouldn’t be entirely open to everybody and anybody that we interact with just by virtue of coincidental presence.
At her work place they’ve contacted the local PD and made them fully aware of the situation, and have distributed a picture of the guy to all supervisors with instructions on what to do if he is spotted in or around the building. H.R. also included that if this woman is seen or has contact with him at work and doesn’t report it she will be terminated immediately.
I recommended the same thing about the spill over. Wife could paper her out the door within a week if she wanted to, but she doesn’t want to.
I think this weekend (they work Tue-Sat) should be a decent indicator. Stuff seems to happen on the weekends when the woman gets bored and lonely- then picks up the phone and gets the ball rolling.

I’m stressed just reading about it, Skyz, and I would be very concerned. I feel very lucky that my life until age 12 allowed me to meet my most essential developmental milestones, Erikson’s theory-wise. It’s hard work, figuring out trust vs mistrust, once you hit adulthood.
I just got home from the weekend with Hockey, doing his daughter’ baby shower (hello entire extended family!), house renovation stuff (pregnancy unexpected, she and her fiancé had just put a contract on a nightmare of a fixer-upper and now time’s almost up to get it done), and some drunken martini stuff. Every single bit of it was lovely.
I want to let Iraq go. I don’t know what to say, though.

Good luck with the job situation. I can relate to the relying on others acceptance. It’s funny, I think it’s a good thing, but I use this self-awareness to make myself perform better. Around the house I’m relying in She Say’s acceptance so I work hard to be a good father, husband, etc…at work I put people I report to as people I want to accept me…makes me work harder.
Not sure if this is dysfunctional, but if I don’t have somebody to fight to accept me I’m done for. I’m guessing participating in these threads on T-Nation is my desire to be accepted by you lot.
