Let's Process Our Feelings

All things being equal: choose a neutral color, unless it’s small. No sense making things look worse.

Other than that, I got nothing. Maybe check Consumer Reports.
I’m going to disagree and suggest a snappy red if you can find it.
That’s fine if it’s small. But if it’s big and then there’s something else he needs later that he can only get in a clashing red, it’s going to be an eyesore.

Isn’t what we’re talking about when we say “processing” the application of thought or reason to feelings?

By the way, I put on my long, flowing therapist’s skirt for this.

I think I’m stuck. The noises are tantalizing I hear robot quintets playing their robotic horns. I can not process this feeling it is just there.
Can we feel things outside of our bodies. Or is it all internal reactions to outside stimulus?
Well. Lot of feelings! I’m not sure if you can feel things outside of your body or whether it’s all internal response. Seems like a good question for Derek524 (542?) to answer if he comes by, since he’s medical.
Looks like Derek has become too old and worn down to help you process your feelings, jlabs. I’m sorry. Maybe Professor X will come back and help you with it. He’s medical, too, sort of.

I’m going to disagree and suggest a snappy red if you can find it. My toaster is red, and I love it so much. I use it every day and it never ceases to make me happy, except when melted cheese is on the bottom and I forget to get it cleaned up before toasting again, and then it stinks again. Anyway, a feelings processor is likely to be one of your most used appliances, so it should be something you love.

Although I love my coffee maker, and it isn’t red.

Which serves as an excellent example of the complexity of life.
Interesting. I have a bright red coffee grinder that would probably go great with your toaster, and reminds me of a question I’ve been meaning to ask.

Why do women give me kitchen wares? In one relationship the woman showed up one day and gave me a microwave oven. I already had one, which she acknowledged, but said I should have the one she chose. Another gave me a Black & Decker steamer, and a third gave me the coffee grinder.

I’ve run it by a few of my buddies and they all go blank.
That’s pretty weird, Skyz. I’m afraid I’ve gone blank, too. (OMG, you’re all turning me into a MAN now!)

Edit: I’ve never given a man a kitchenware thing unless he specifically asked for it.

What about sexist people who merely observe their sollipsism?
Non.

This, from batman730, was correct:
If you thought per-pseudo-breakup hunter guy was overly clingy and adoring, I expect you’ve seen nothing compared to post-pseudo-breakup-begged-for-an-got-second-chance breakup guy.

You know how when a condemned man gets an 11th hour reprieve…

Anyway, at least you’ll get some more practice breaking up, which it appears that you might benefit from

Just try to get it done sometime in the next 28 days soâ?¦
I had the opportunity for more practice this evening.

My feeling: relief.

Nutella? Are you joking? I thought only men ate that! The name and look of the jar are so off-putting that I’ve never even tried it. Much less on a sandwich! ~gag~

Edit: Wow, that’s big. And gross! Sorry about giant pic of yucky food.
Oh, you don’t like it because of the look of the jar -_- lol

But now imagine girls eating it on their peanut butter sandwiches and by the spoonful; thinking they’re doing themselves a favor.

Yup

How can it have almost no protein when it’s ostensibly made of nuts? YUCK.

I did that yesterday. I’m… still trying to process it.

Didn’t expect it to hit me so hard, and I don’t even know what “it” is.
For some reason, turning 30 brought about a ton of negative self-judgment. It doesn’t really make sense to me; it’s all in my head.
Not celebrating birthdays makes aging a lot easier.

Incroyable…

But what do you know, you dont even know your way around the cakes chocolate…

If I feel like I need to take a shit, how much “processing”, or “the application of thought or reason” does that need, beyond locating a decent toilet?

If I’m angry because someone takes something that’s rightfully mine, I will take into consideration the legal consequences of whatever retaliation I’m considering and whether it’s worth it in the long run. If I’m sad because I’ve lost someone, no amount of “processing” will bring that person back. Beyond that, “the application of thought or reason” to something as trivial as a feeling seems like an incredible waste of mental energy.

Am I the only one who’s really excited to be in the 35-45 age range? That’s when nature gives you extra strong “man muscle” to help fight off young bucks like me. Pretty sure the day you turn 35 your bench goes up 50lbs. I’m gonna be strong as shit when I’m older. I bet it’s sweet.

Yup. I was just going to say, the tradeoff for your magical “man strength” is vastly reduced recovery ability and chronic pain.

Plus there’s always the risk that you’ll go senile, and start double-posting to bodybuilding forums.

You get to the point where you go to the Asian massage parlor, and what you really want the cute little Vietnamese masseuse to do is give you a massage.
