Emily does not know about Schwarzwaelder Kirschtorte.
She thinks she needs chocolate frosting.

There’s a lot to cover. It might need its own thread. But I will say definitively - because it’s good fun to make definitive statements if you happen to have any - that women don’t like misogynistic people who accuse them of solipsism.
What about sexist people who merely observe their sollipsism?

I have 5 kids and 2 grandkids.
I am ahead of the curve, a lot of living in that 40 years.

I prefer a stone mortar and pestal. it’s a little slower but you get more satisfaction out of the grinding and crushing and deconstruction of those pesky feelings.
it’s also easy to clean ;-{

I did that yesterday. I’m… still trying to process it.
Didn’t expect it to hit me so hard, and I don’t even know what “it” is.

damn! I got tattoos older than you!
is processed honey really as good for you as natural honey?
how good is it for you anyway?
is organic sugar better for you? as processed as it is, how does that make a difference?
so confuzzled

You are not supposed to use either one

All things being equal: choose a neutral color, unless it’s small. No sense making things look worse.
Other than that, I got nothing. Maybe check Consumer Reports.
I’m going to disagree and suggest a snappy red if you can find it. My toaster is red, and I love it so much. I use it every day and it never ceases to make me happy, except when melted cheese is on the bottom and I forget to get it cleaned up before toasting again, and then it stinks again. Anyway, a feelings processor is likely to be one of your most used appliances, so it should be something you love.
Although I love my coffee maker, and it isn’t red.
Which serves as an excellent example of the complexity of life.
That’s no complexity, it just means you’d love it even more if it were also red.

Nutella? Are you joking? I thought only men ate that! The name and look of the jar are so off-putting that I’ve never even tried it. Much less on a sandwich! ~gag~
Edit: Wow, that’s big. And gross! Sorry about giant pic of yucky food.

Women eat Nutella, and men eat Vegemite.
Well, Em, I hope you’re happy now.
In the other thread you asked (if perhaps facetiously) why men can’t be more like women.
And now look what we have here. A bunch of manly T-men, processing their feelings, and discussing kitchen appliances and chocolate cake.
The sociologist in you must be tickled fuchsia.
I think that all animals have emotions, just like all animals eat, shit, fuck, and die. Therefore, I don’t rate feelings as very important. Actual reason, on the other hand, is an incredibly rare and precious thing. Rationalizing is probably more closely related to emotion than reason.

Do you really think I have any power to feminize these men, or would want to even if I could?
Do you imagine that if I had one of the men in this thread with me (disclaimer: who was single and falls into my demographic), that we would be processing our feelings or talking about kitchenware? I find that highly unlikely because personally, after the second date, if there’s a masculine enough man with me and kissing starts, I don’t have very much to say at all, and certainly not about red coffee pots.
I like men who are men. Especially if they’re confident enough in their masculinity to joke about “feelings processors” and contain more than one dimension.
Any man who winds up feminized by a woman like me was not much of a man to begin with. More thoughtful, maybe. Less bullying, perhaps. Hopefully less misogynistic. But not less masculine.

For some reason, turning 30 brought about a ton of negative self-judgment. It doesn’t really make sense to me; it’s all in my head.
