Legs Cramping During Bench

Jim, so today was the first day of doing my 2 day per week template. I did squats and bench main work joker sets and FSL. All reps felt strong and explosive.

So during my bench sets when I would use leg drive my quads kept cramping up from all the squatting. I tried foam rolling but it didnt help. I still got all my bench reps in and set a rep pr. What would you suggest to alleviate the cramping?

What would I do? I’d just chalk it up to being out of shape and vow to get better.
In other words, rub some dirt on it.

Thanks for the advice. Odd question, did you somehow change the title of the post?

Nope. I don’t do anything like that - you give me too much credit.

People want detail but they need simplicity

This.

Buy a bottle of low sodium V8 vegetable juice or low sodium tomato juice, it has about 4 times the potassium per serving than a banana. Drink a glass or two every day and you won’t cramp up again. I go with the safeway generic low sodium vegetable juice and it works great.
