Ouch! I did my first leg workout (quad-dominant) of the second phase of the Limping series and I can barely walk! My legs haven’t been this sore since I first tried squats several years ago. I’m planning to do my hip-dominant leg work tomorrow, but I’m wondering if I should wait another day if they’re still sore. My legs are sore from the quad dominant work, but deadlifts work a lot of the same muscles. Should I wait a day if I’m still sore tomorrow? What do you T-folk think?
I had to wait a day. I tried to do it back-to-back, but decided my form wasn’t what it should be. I also found that it was like that for each change of routine, but after the first week I was able to go back-to-back if I had too (Work schedule sometimes requires me to change up days).
I should specify, I actually did the quad-dominant workout on Tuesday, so it will have been 3 days. Normally more than enough time, but considering how sore I am right now, I don’t know. I’m pretty sure if I tried to do them back to back like Greg I’d end up curled up in the fetal position around the base of the cage until someone carried my whimpering ass home.
Wait until the soreness has gone, then go back to do the second leg workout. Takes me around 5 - 6 days to recover from any leg workout… but that’s just me. Whatever makes me grow best…!
