Left On Broadway

alexus- thanks! I still feel like i have a ways to go, but, its steps in the heavier direction!

kimba- i dunno who Tim Gunn is, (remember i doant haz teh tee vee) but “make it work” sounds juuuuust right. and of course, i look forward to scaring you.

cal- amusing… um yeah. I remember boycotting the gym awhile back when the Hobbit wanted me to work for him, and telling him how dangerous i think it is in there, with the small space and lack of consideration on the part of other people lifting. so, i guess if i leave a few dead bodies around, no one will be surprised.

dharma- you’re not in handcuffs, are you?

MIM- that is the plan, indeed. tee hee. OH YOU MEANT LIFTING!! yeah, that too.

deja- WAHOO!

Nope but I do carry them and am quite proficient with them also.

Oh hai.

Just wanted to say I admire you and you’re one of the females who inspired me to look into powerlifting…way back in the “FA” days.

Keep up the awesome work!

dharma- i approve.

ss- well hey there blast from the past! FA days, no shit! i’m always glad i can inspire someone to do something legal. i can’t say always, bc this might be the first time i’ve heard about such an event, but i’ll remember it anyway.

SEE?! I’M NOT A BAD INFLUENCE!

not ALL the time, anyway.

ok. need moar imput.

about contacts, again. got the grey ones, not enough of a diff to notice THAT much. rather than getting another pair of grey, i have 3 other choices.

Haha, you should feel quite proud.

P.S. About the contacts, the purple/white looks best, IMO.

Or, gaining a new M.O.

Icing-

I’ve also been recruited for the city middle school mentoring program.

AWWW SHEEEET SUHN!

#1 I wore honey colored contacts for a while and they looked pretty badass.

Errr, yeah I meant the pink. Looks purple to me, haha. #3 then!

  1. Because they are closest to my daughter’s eye color and her eyes are beautiful

I think the Dolly eye brown would look good on you.

The neon pink #3 because those are the most unusual.

Middle school mentoring…great idea. The little hellions might actually listen to you.

nice squating Bear!!

which lens did you get?

http://mycandyeyes.com/en/geo-magic-circle-lens/geo-circle-lens-mce-ck-105.html

I ordered ^^these.^^ My idiot self didn’t check to see if any of the others were available in prescription. Damn my blind, inferior eyes!!

Speaking of inferior… reminds me of my lifting. I have no excuses, I haven’t had my head in the game. Not being able to drive has worn on me more than I want to admit, and I let it get me down.

I’d tentatively been planning to do the meet the weekend of the Arnold Classic (march 5th), but looking at my frequency in the gym and how close that is, on top of not being able to get myself there (I know pegg would drive me), I’ll change plans and go for the one at the end of April, with the rest of the weekend crew. The SPF Ohio State Meet.

That way, I’ll have at least 4 other lifters I know keeping me accountable, on top of my online bitches.

From the Matt Foley side, there’s plenty of ways I can get this done, I just hafta DO IT. Back to the van, down by the river…

Dude, I don’t blame you - no car is no bueno.

I know you’re beastly strong, so you probs could have done the March meet and still put most of the women there to shame! Smart move though moving it to April. At least with some more training under your belt (pun intended), you’ll have more confidence…not that you need it! Lol!

Plus you’ll have more fun at the meet with your regular lifting peeps! And yes, we will hold you accountable…wags finger, pulls out riding crop

sweet!

Every strong person has chinks in their strong-armor. Lack of freedom of movement is one of mine too. We were down to one car that I could drive (there is another, but I don’t drive a stick) and that drove me so nuts that I insisted on a short-term rental until the new car comes available.

You’ll find a way around this one. And time, it is passing and the situation will eventually change for the better again.

maschy- i dig your puns, your pussy(cat), and your positive attitude. and, you call me dude. now about that riding crop… that, ma’am, that i LOVE.

deja- you plannin on bein arizzound?

kimba- there’s gotta be an asian joke in there somewhere. wish i could rent a drivers license. or that i’d cultivated more bitches over winter break so that i could summon some minions to drive me around.

class over for the day. have a meeting, and hopefully a trip to the store, soze i can make some food to take with me on my epic trip to campus tomorrow. why epic, you say? because i’ll stay during my 5p-8p break and figure out the gym there and at least get some preterite tense spanish verbs figured the fuck out. pudiste my ass.

I’m sure your lifting will pick up. I share your frustration - my downtime is due to sickness rather than lack of transport, however. It always seems that whenever I start to make progress, I get injured or sick or something. It’s frustrating.

Enjoy the lenses, anyway. I love the freaky lenses they have here: http://www.9mmsfx.com/ but of course these are theatrical lenses rather than for any old joe to buy. So cool though.
