Training has been a bit disappointing, as far as frequency.
Spent much of last week frustrated at lack of ride to the gym. Haven’t yet employed non-family (besides Pegg) help… some of that is pride, some of that is just not wanting to use up my resources too quickly.
so imagine how much more i’m kicking myself now that i’ve realized there’s a crappy, but existent, gym at school.

will make better use of that this week.
Traning of Note-
EFS Saturday Squat
Dropped a couple more warmup sets, and did a bit more mobility work before hand. I can get on board with this…
worked up to 245x2.

then i found out that with as much attention as i’ve been paying to my hamstrings, i’ve neglected my quads. had to do sets of 20 on the leg press. fuck me running, batman. that shit sucks.
also, did rack pulls from pin 2. After, of course, the loggers finished.
was a lil upset with myself on these, didnt double more than 285. peggs reassurance is that he can pull more from the floor than he can from pin 2.
he also said that’s a weird place for me to get stuck in a DL. that if i can get it past there, i have no prob. so, i’m cool enough to stump him, but i wanna get it fixed. so we’ll see how this goes.
between sat afternoon and monday am, i slept enough to be looked down upon. i really should work on this more during the week. and on convincing pegg to go into EFS on sundays.
all in all, was a good weekend, and i’m all set to have a good week.
someone wanna take me to the store? I made tuna salad and now i want crackers. I’m all out of crackers.

That you can just waltz in to EFS and put up 245 x 2 even with all your recent training struggles confirms yet again that you are a very talented lifter. When your life settles down and you can focus more on your training, it will be scary (in a good way) to watch you excel.
