no training this weekend. worked long days both days, sunday night was the coworker going away party for my boss (dunno if ive mentioned it and i dont feel like going back to look) who’s moving to *texas.

2 margaritas and 2 beers later, lack of food and hydration (really. it wasnt my first time drinking) left me with a motherfucker of a nauseous poop filled hangover all day monday. was in bed till 5pm.

if i was gonna get that much sleep and miss 3 classes i wouldve liked to have not felt like shit.

so here i am awake before noon on a tuesday, with the climbing wall fully staffed, the gym open, my motivation ready to roar… and i have a draft due at 1pm that i havent started yet.

**yeah thats fuckin me up. on top of everything else that’s happened in the last 3 months, now one of my best friends is moving away. not like he’s dying or anything, but it’s made me realize how lucky i’ve been to have him around. get paid to hang out with a buddy a few times a week? FUCK YEAH!! the final hurrah is saturday night, following the annual charity golf tournament he organizes every year.

also, i got him to go in and approve all of my requests for time off over the next few months. teehee.

we don’t have a replacement for the pharmacy manager position, and are shitting ourselves trying to cover his shifts. last i heard, there was no one to work after 4pm on friday… and the opening pharmacist will be more than happy to lock up when she leaves.

it’ll all be ok in the end, so if it’s not ok, it’s not the end.

Sometimes its hard to determine how much weight is really on the bar. Especially when it comes to the big lifts, it can be hard to tell if that’s 4, 5 or 6 plates on the bar. DBs can be the same way. You can also cut squats high, not touch your chest or get help from a spotter on bench. Win over followers with T&A so that they’re too busy drooling to question your shit form. If you haven’t posted pics, you could always post someone elses lifting videos.

And if you wanna claim a 315 DL you can always get a vid of you straining on a pull. No need to show that weight on the bar :slight_smile:

so, i went to the gym yesterday. another try at getting back in this mix.

kinda the same circuit as last time, did 4x10, and went from 15lb db’s to 25lb dbs on the 4th set.

i was sweating like a whore in church. dayum im outta shape!!

alternating lunges
straight leg dl
db swing
bw hyper
roman chair raises- uneventful each time.

rest was semi active, did teh stretches and dranked teh water.

felt good to feel that awful. :slight_smile:

BC- thankya!! I have 11 days left in this quarter, and i’m pretty sure i can do anything if i can finish this and pass.

veg- i started taking a vit b complex every day, and 1mL IM of b12 once a week. i cant honestly say when my appetite came back, and still dont know what caused it. (if it was something other than stress)

greenie- apparently im the only asshole around. :wink: BG is catching up tho.

bg- thought moving south would teach you how to be a lady. guess not!!

sb- it was randomish. tuesdays are generally lower body accessory day, thursdays are upper, but i’ll find out more this weekend when i get to efs to lift. proam in frankfurt ahoy!!
