Lee at his best (when he won the San Franscisco Pro a few years back) would beat current Branch ( or the branch that won the last 2 arnolds) IMHO. I don’t really think current branch is as good as he was early on, he’s just big for the sake of being big, he’s lost detail and his shape is terrible.
That said, I have seen pics of him in MD where he looks outstanding but those are usually black and white gym shots where he has a tank on and you really can’t see his lack of taper and all that jazz (plus we have no idea what MD is doing to “help” the pics along). Branch at this point is pretty much everything that is wrong with Pro BB. I do respect his work ethic cause he does bust his ass but lots of peopole bust thier ass in the gym.

This has been stated numerous times here, especially in a thread “Branch Warren Sucks”. That thread no longer exists (I think the mods removed it. I guess they were afraid Branch might show up here someday. LOL).

Best I could whip up. I did my best to scale them for height, but I’m not image wizard.
Priest from the 97 Olympia, his first O appearance, got 6th - as high as he’d ever place there. Same year he got 4th at the Ironman and 7th at the Arnold.
Warren from the 07 NY Pro, his first major pro show win. Also got 7th at the Arnold that year.
Never truly realized just how bar Warren’s forearms arm. How is it even possible to train as heavy as he does, and yet have such subpar development in his gripping and holding muscles?

I initially thought the same thing, Stu, but then I rationalized that almost anyone posing next to Lee Priest would appear to have small forearms.

ahh, I’m what you call a “new member” and I have only looked at about 3 threads on here but I’m sure branch gets a beat down here like he does at all the other forums…lol.

I don’t want to sound like ass or anything but in all seriousness Pro’s really aren’t aesthetically pleasing… not even the 212 competitors. So many times i hear girls at my gym saying how ugly they look(there’s posters of phil and jay all over my gym). I dont understand how someone could even think they look good. I mean im not hottest guy in the world or whatever i but definitely wouldn’t trade bodies with one of those guys…
