Chubby Men as Attractive as Men w/ Abs

Ummm…This news doesn’t affect me. Not at all.

You’re telling me that men found ads without other “hunky” men just as effective, if not moreso? Say it ain’t so!

Furthermore, this seems to be based on selling products. Put a skinny-fat dude next to someone who lifts and is in decent shape and see who a group of women would pick - face to face.

That reminds me, I fucking hate this ad…

Dude! Lynx works 60% of the time, every time.

LOL!

I usually don’t buy shit because of how the guy looks on a package. I would imagine most straight guys are the same way aside from specifically possibly speaking of bodybuilding supplement packaging.

I would also imagine that out of shape guys would praise other out of shape guys as equal because that makes them feel better.

I am not sure how this directly relates to SALES of a product. People don’t buy products based on survey answers. It is usually a very split second decision based on many factors that may not show up if you simply ask someone if the guy on the package makes them want to buy it more.

Hell, even the COLOR of packaging has much to do with how it sells.

Exactly. Having been in the graphics end of the advertising field for many years, I can honestly say it’s a fine line between promotion and propaganda.

Uhoh, so now if they take the muscular men OFF of the packages, they’re gonna be labelled as homophobes…lolol.

“The results echoed Diedrichsâ??s 2008 findings that so-called “plus-size” female models sell products as effectively as their emaciated catwalk colleagues”

That was the part I found the most retarded. MOST women these days are able to realize that they may be overweight and therefore identify with a “plus-size” model.

I don’t think this “research” is valid at all.

i’ve always gotten just as much attention from the opposite sex when i was a sloppy 260, a skinny 200-215, or a bulky 275-300, if that counts as valid research at all…

what a relief! now I can stop eating like this and lifting weights!!

I did some looking up and it looks as if the threshold for being “plus size” is eating more than third world subsistence farmer.

What do you mean? Per day? I would imagine a Third World subsistance farmer though lean, would still provide a good deal of calories. Probably in the 20,000 range. So eating a whole one per day would DEFINATELY put you into the plus size. Now eating one per week, that might be a stretch.

Thanks for that vid…I’ve been looking all over for it. All this time I was searching for AXE ads when it was a Lynx ad all along.

…anyhwow, the girl at the end of the vid in the leopard print looks like a friend of mine. Now I can show it to her. I told her about the commercial/ad a while back, but she mentioned to me she’s never seen it. Now I can show it to her = )

I’m glad someone got something from it.

You mean like, around 2 kilo-calories? Or do you mean like, 20,000 kcal each day? Because one’s rediculous, and the other one’s… Professor X…X2. At least.

And you can request she strut around in leapord bra + panties for verification.

How about guys looking at these photos wouldn’t pick someone who looks HOTTER than them for the sake of their tiny, little egos? I think Prof X mentioned something along the same lines.

Bingo. This is why there are so many fat women out there who have been brainwashed into thinking all of that 270lbs is “sexxxay”. Way too many guys of low standard who will screw anything telling women their rolls are just fine so they can keep being fat as well.

This is a very interesting thing to see in Houston. I have seen super fat women (not super PHAT), at a bar with THONGS clinging for dear life in ass cracks as wide as the Grand Canyon. I tried seeing if I could hear an echo in one of these crevices but all I heard was sweat leaking into more grooves.

I have also seen guys whistle at these behemoths as if they were a solid TEN on the Bang Scale.

I can only guess this happens either because it is an easy lay…or the guy feels better abut himself if his girl is slipping down the evolutionary ladder at over 60mph.

I tried in my younger, fatter years stripping under the name Flabio, but was only paid to put my clothes back on.

Have you ever read Denis Leary’s book “Why We Suck?” If you haven’t you’d love it … I swear he said almost the exact same thing somewhere in there that you just said … except I think I laughed more at yours
