Obviously if the stomach is full of food, it will stand out. Now will taking a laxative impair the uptake of nutrients and cause a catabolic state, or can the be used the day I go clubbing to acheive a flatter stomach ?

I suppose if you think ladies dig a dude with a flat stomach who runs to the washroom every 10 min over a dude with a normal stomach who can control his bowels, go for it.

Go for it, hope you are not one of those people who have a problem crapping in public toilets. Most of the clubs I’ve been to are a little lacking cleanliness, especially at the end of the night. You may want to pack your own toilet paper, as it always seems to either get soaked with urine or end up in the toilet itself.
the less fat on your stomach and the more muscle it has the flatter it will appear. There aren’t any easy answers lay off the junk food.
You guys dont get it. Some people (like myself) can have a very low bodyfat level (I have been down to 4%) and still have a big gut. Kind of like a pregnant woman, her stomach sticks out but this dosent necessarily mean she is fat. If I were to take a laxative every day (and I have tried this before as an experiment) my stomach would be MUCH flatter! My problem is that I only have a bowel movement every few days, thus my stomach is fuller of food than someone that has one every day or more.
Brian if you only get a bowl movement once a day then perhaps it is time to upp your fiber content… my first meal of the day is oatmeal, then I eat some sandwitches made out of whole wheat bread and some green lettuce, I am not bsing here when I say that I take like 4 craps a day, and the morning one I have to do in like 3 sessions (so if I were to count em seperatly that would be 7 craps a day) and its always freakin amazing how much I can crap out cuz it is a lot.
Freebie, thanks for the suggestion, however I do eat a lot of fiber! I eat a minimum of 1.5 servings of oatmeal per day, and when bulking 4 or 5. I have 1 or 2 large apples, 8 gms of psyllium husk, 4 slices of whole gain bread, and when bulking 4 servings of cherrios. I know this sounds kind of silly but I am actually jealous of you.
Brian, exacly my point. I´m 205 pounds with 8 % BF and still look bloated after a meal. The other posts on this thread reflects the perfect Mr O symmetry : Waist, Quads and IQ are all the same number.
hehe if you are eating something do not read ahead… but anyway I’ve always been blessed with pooping… guess the universe was like well we aina gonna make him big, we aina gonna make him strong, and were not gonna make him too smart tho he will wear glasses, so lets give him the power to poop alot that will impress the chicks… anywho even on a fat fast I didn’t supplement with extra fiber and had about 2 bowl movements a day (one in the morning and I’d think one in mid day) not a whole lot woulld pop out and it was liquidy, but still… I’ll die a proud proud man. Anywho… maybe if you have access to a smart doc you could go ask for some advice or for a checkup? or increase your fiber intake still from whatever you are eating now and also I don’t know what kinda foods you eat, but in my experience the more solid food I eat the more I poop out (how ironic…).
It’s been this way my whole life no mater what I ate, but I guess things have goten worse scince the cottage cheese and Advanced protein shakes…
Yea, maybe a doc could help. However, everything that I have read on line say’s there is nothing wrong with only having 2 or 3 bowel movements a week and I am afraid the doc will say the same.
I know that I could have a much flater stomach if I could just keep things moving through my sytem faster. I just dont know how except for the laxitive thing witch is good for you…
3 to 30 per week is the range that’s considered “normal.” So, you’re right in that a doc probably won’t do a thing for you.
damn maybe I should see a doc due to too much solid pooping… 7 times a day times 7 days a week = 49… that’s 19 poops over the normal safe pooping…
