Latest Music That Gets You Fired Up

I Killed The Prom Queen

Rammstein Rammstein and Rammstein again

no doubts all that other fast and not understandable bullshit does not help me

Kittie!- An all girl band screaming bloody murder to loud ass music…definatly helps…only problem is I think it’s making me deaf! Haha!

And you can add Slipknot (The Blister Exists rocks!), Deftones (My own summer), Drowning Pool (Boddies), Rammstein, some Korn, and Five Foot Thick to the mix.

Why must all gyms play that mellow, lethargic, pop-star, crap? I wouldn’t have to crank Public Enemy and Slayer so high if my gym just grew some balls. Funny though, I always wonder what the ectomorphic non-gainers are listening to as they do their endless sets of fifteen pound bicep curls. Probably Brian Adams.

FUCKING-A! Noce add to the already mentioned Slayer. I’m going dust my old Sepultura CD’s too.

Couple of bands not mentioned that I really get amped by while slinging steel…

Black Lable Society
Damageplan
Megadeath
Exodus
Testament

Surprised how many of you guys are metal heads!

Forget all this nu-metal crap. Try lifting to something that has some intensity to it. Copied and pasted from my Ipod:

1349, Axis of Advance, Belphegor, Bolt Thrower, Council of the Fallen, Crebain, Cryptopsy, Deathspell Omega, Draugar, Glorior Belli, Gorgoroth, Hate Eternal, Into the Moat, Keep of Kalessin, Lamb of God (OK one nu-metal band), Leviathan, Mastodon, Melechesh, Misery Index, Moonblood, Morbid Angel, Necrophagist, NILE, Pig Destroyer, The Red Chord, Satyricon, Vehemence, Weakling

Thanks for saying what I didn’t have the guts to…

I’ll add Mayhem, Emperor, Burzum, Bathory, Darkthrone, Immortal, for some really hardcore, ear-splitting death metal. Don’t forget good ole-fashioned ass-kicking Meshuggah, Shadows Fall, Amon Amarth, and Sigh.[/quote]

Alot of those bands arn’t death, their black metal. And I’ll add some of my favorites too

Death before Dishonor is my best friend’s band. That’s a great song and a great album. He’ll be thrilled to know that people are lifting to it up in Canada.

Yeah New Found Power by Damageplan is great to lift to and Zakk Wylde would make a fine T-Man

i dont have an ipod or mp3 player or any of that stuff, and listening to a certain music really never crosses my mind when i go to the gym. so, im stuck with what the gym is playing. they have xm radio, that is either on a green day-ish station when one kid is behind the counter, and strangely enough a station that plays kelly clarkson 6-7 out of every 10 songs when this other kid is there.

oddly enough, i like the kelly clarkson. shes got itty bitty boobs, and isnt the hottest girl ive ever seen, but im still strangely attracted to her, so when the songs come on somehow i end up thinking about banging her, and i guess that helps my workouts in some way.

if you’re not lifting to the cro-mags, you’re not really lifting.

I sooo agree! Hard times comin’ ya way !!!

Everybody hear knows that I’m probably the biggest Tool fan in the nation. But when I squat, there’s only two groups: Slipknot and DevilDriver.

For some reason, on our fight days, it’s all rap. I can’t lift to rap to save my life, but when I roll or spar, it’s all DMX, Xzibit, D-12, Eminem, Lil Wayne, and Busta Rhymes.

well shit, you guys should be fuckin deaf by now

Shit that gets into the “mood”:
Audioslave-like a stone,we got a better bomb
Ali-breathe in,breathe out
The Hives-diabolic scheme
Bob Seger-Old Time Rock and Roll
Busta Rhymes-Touch it
Fuel-Hemorrhage
Daddy Yankee-Gasolina remix
DMX-Ain’t No Sunshine
Drowning Pool-Let the bodies Hit Tha Floor
Foo Fighters-Best of You
Guano Apes-Open Your Eyes
Godsmack-I stand Alone
Metallica-Enter Sandman,The Unforgiven
Kicking Harold-Gasoline
Mortal Kombat remix(techno)
Limp Biscuit-Armagedon(not sure)
Linkin Park-By Myself
N.E.R.D-Rockstar
George Thoroughgood-One Bourbon,One Scotch,One Beer
Scorpions-Hurricane,No one Like you
Shinedown-.45
White Stripes-dead leaves on the dirty ground
Three Days Grace-Just Like You
Van Halen-Hot for Teacher(never a good thing to listen to while driving…)
Motorhead-The Game

I like a bunch of different crap, can ya tell?

Who sang “Burn motherfucker burn!”

Matisyahu.

Anyone heard the new Tool album yet? Very good…

And as previously mentioned Slipknot, Slayer, Korn, Arch Enemy & some Dimmu Borgir…good stuff!

The classics gentlemen…AC/DC…Zeppelin…The Doors…

New Stuff, The White Stripes rock pretty damn hard, a lot of noise for just two people. Pearl Jam too

Second The White Stripes…crank up “Black Math” or “Cannon.”

Also, been getting back into old Black Flag recently…“Damaged” is a great album.

If you’re talking about the roof is on fire thats the bloodhound gang. And Matisyahu is pretty good…
