I used to have one of those doorway chinup bars, never had a problem while weighing 250+ and doing them with added weight. I only got rid of it after moving to another house with a higher ceiling in the basement so I can actually use the chinup bar on my rack. There are ones with multiple grips too.

Goblet Squats 35lbs

Felt exhausted, legs and glutes felt like they were gonna cramp. Had trouble going up the stairs.
Stopped it at that. Really wanted to do walking lunges, but I’ll save that for next time. I’m weak and deconditioned AF right now
20 rep sets tend to do that lel. What weight do u think you’ll need to be working in the 8-15 rep range with up to a few in the tank?
Goblet squats? The two dumbbells max out at 105lbs total, which is roughly 50kg. Can definitely squat that for reps after a few weeks of getting back into it, the problem would be holding them. By then, Goblet squats should be warm up, and split squats and lunges should be the bulk of the work
I decided the goal for the mean time is to bring up weak points and maintain leg strength (or bring it close as much as possible to what it was). So that’s gonna be more back work, shoulder work, and minimizing leg strength discrepancy between right and left. Also, curls lol

@chickenlittle, @chris_ottawa, @magick the cheap ones on ebay seem to be a chinese knock off of the iron gym pull up bar. By any chance, are the ones that you have the Iron Gym brand?
Mine is not. I think mine a Gold’s gym from Walmart.
I don’t have mine anymore, but it was pretty cheap to buy and I don’t doubt it was made in China. Amazon sells many different models in that same style.

I suggest you get it from either Amazon or Target or some similar store. They’re cheap.
I think you are putting way too much thought into this. It’s just a pull up bar. Go down to Walmart and grab one for $20, bolt it together, and get after it.

Staying away from the usual curls with palms facing up to save my left wrist that was injured before. It’s just not worth the risk for me.
