Lanky Me Chasing 5 More lbs, 1 More Rep

That all looks delicious to be honest man.

Maybe I’m just hungry.

I agree, looks delicious. I had to google Bulgogi… lol (not on many menus where I live). Translates into “fire meat” this sounds like something I may need to try!

Just google “Korean ground beef” for the second one. From a website called therecipecritic Maybe you’ll have better luck making it taste good. Haha!

@ChickenLittle, beef bulgogi is pretty popular in Korea. It’s mildly sweet and a little spicy. Think of it as the Korean equivalent of American BBQ. I cheated there cause it’s pre-made korean bulgogi sauce. If you find a place there with a small korean store, they’ll probably have some in a bottle. Mom said the marinating part was the important part

Looks good man. Good job for trying to learn how to cook, it’s a very useful skillset.

Thanks bro! Usefull skill indeed!

Nice. I like relatively quick and simple. Given my need for control over ingredients, instead of ketchup I’ll hit a beef crumble with a generous splash of either malt or balsamic vinegar and a small diced tomato. Especially with the lean ground.

And yeah, omelets are an art form (pain in the ass). If they get too sideways on me I just turn what ever it was supposed to be into a “scramble”. :joy:

Good stuff! :+1:

I like to cook my omlet until the eggs are set and then flip the eggs over, then add the filling. So the eggs are not runny on the inside :flushed:

I do my egg mixture pretty thin, more like a crepe than a souffle, cuz honestly, I could never get it to fluff to my liking so I just went completely the other direction with them.

Like that!

Looks good to me!
But know I what crepes.

Oohhh nice, thanks!

Yeah, I realized eggs are harder than they seem lol

Yeah. I see chefs on tv and YouTube with these great techniques and I’m like “Sure! I can do that.”, then flip, splat “here kitty kitty…”. :joy:

A slice of provolone fixes all kinds of technical problems too.

HA! Gave me a good laugh! Same here, except mine’s a dog lol

Gym was jam packed. Some guys had just begun setting up in thr squat rack as I finished changing. Benches were all being used.

Was supposed to bench today but decided to have fun (be a total idiot).

Broad Jumps 5, 4, 3

what, nobody else looked at the title and thought of this?

3 plates dude, that’s a big, big jump from the 90kg form checks a few posts up. Good work.

We’re all allowed a bit of stupid sometimes (@MarkKO, cover your ears)

@guineapig, @dagill2, thanks brothers!

It’s sumo though. Those 90kg form checks were conventional. I don’t think I’ll be crazy enough to jump that much weight on conventional.

It’s so tempting to switch to the dark side lol

Dewit. Muscular demands are similar. The only difference is a smidge less hammies and low back which can easily be made up for assistance work.

Looked pretty easy RPE 7. Go heavier brah
