Yo chaps,
My left Lat is alot smaller than my right. I can’t say I can notice a significant strength deficit in it during unilateral exercises however.
Does anyone have exercise suggestions for bringing up my lagging side? Bearing in mind I only have the following to work with until July:
Loft hatch in which to pull-up
25kg Kettlebell
Still rings
Various bodyweight exercises
I’m already proficient in pull-ups but I feel my right must take the majority of the load and prevent my left side growing.
Cheers
One arm dumbbell rows will isolate the lagging side.
I should have added earlier, only having a 25kg weight I’m comfortable doing one arm rows for high reps. I doubt sets of 20 will bring up my lat.
Do you find there are any other one sided exercises useful? Alternatively would a tempo’d rep scheme work when i find straight reps too eazy?

How about a one-arm inverted row or “fat man pull-up”?

Try doing a straight arm row with the kettlebell. It’ll be more difficult than the standard one arm row but you can really feel it in your lats (that weight might be too heavy though). Or what about trying one arm chin-ups, doing an extra few on the left side?
