I have done 100 in a session pretty regularly recently

5x20-25 with big rest- 4 to 5 minutes or more.

Its easier- when your not doing them after a bunch of pressing…

I dont have much other training going on… so its that bw squats and pushups.

Only time I dipped a lot was in wrestling. We were supposed to do sets of dips before the workouts started. I’d do mine and work out. One day the coach started us all running laps then calling people out to do dips. That is when I discovered that just about everyone else was skipping theirs :wink:

Sure was easier to do a lot of dips when I was around 135 lbs or so than it is now.

Wow. I’m glad to get thirty in a session, with multiple sets, though I’ve gone back to just one set and a lot less. A lot less.

Wish I remember what 38 felt like.

I may have some questions for ya regarding hotels/ sights etc. in the next few months, as the venue for my powerlifting meet in Aug next year is at the “Jacob Javitz” centre… please excuse the spelling, I am not sure of the spelling. I looked it up on the map, seems pretty central.

Not too far from Penn station a big train Depot.

PM or facebook and we can go thru the whole deal for hotels etc- August gets a little spendy for hotels
but you can still find something decent and not get robbed if you book early.

October was stupid busy with work…

little man has teeth and stands up in the crib

I ate 45 lbs of halloween candy

not much training- lots of pvc pipe work

some abwheel pushup medley’s

sying to get back to the gym.

Halloween candy laying around the house is the scariest part of halloween, well besides what the teenage daughters want to dress up as. Had to put my foot down a couple times on that. I admire your ability to keep training even when lifting heavy is out of the question.

Now his bites will count for something.

last night I did 140 pushups- with leisurly breaks

today I sprinted two blocks for my commuter train.
I tried to count that as something - but really its bullshit.

the worst part of not training is I have been lured into some really good training discussions
about judo and more so about wrestling- here and in life-

Part of the NYAC club is here where we moved- its part of the olympic training center-

ran into a big Judo guy in a grocery- and a greco coach I know at the homedepot-

too tempting.

I did 80 pushups yesterday in sets of 10 and I am sore. Those are no joke.

had a great month for work in October-
taking less work this week - and some days off leading up to thanksgiving.

clap push-up 4x20

this morning
80 dips broken into like 6 sets 20,20,15,10,10,5

little guy fun this weekend so far

3456 turkish get ups 25lb
2345 one arm bench press 25lb
marathon stroller pushes

little guy is almost walking- can stand up
and can take some steps but cant put the two together.
stand in the crib and I caught him doing pull-ups on the dining table so he could bite the table
actual pull ups

and Little man wants to wrestle- all the time,
the dog, me, the wife, the nanny.

where does he get this stuff
