Kennelly Goes Huge

I can’t comprehend the magnitude of this lift, this man is a bench god.

Holy Motherfucking shit that looked like he could have repped it.

That’s the cleanest of the “big benches” that I’ve seen. No disputing that one.

Bench monster.

Easiest 600 I ever saw in my life. Looks like he could have got another three reps, and this was years ago. Kennelly’s a freak.

It’s funny that for a big bench these days even the spotters have to wear gear.

Kennelly is amazing though, gear or not.

Chris

1200 definitely looks possible.

I was impressed by the ROM

un-fuckin-believable. Definitely the cleanest of all the big benches so far.

BADASS

That was one hell of an amazing lift. As has been said, it was definitely the cleanest of the rececnt 1000 lb plus benches.

It’s truly amazing how far powerlifting has come. Since the 1st 1000 lb squat by Lee Moran, the first 1000 lb dead by Andrew Bolton, and the first 1000 lb bench by Gene Rychlak. Who knows what the future holds? A 3000 lb total looks very attainable, as amazing as that seems. All I can say is I’m very excited for the coming years…

It’s funny, in road to the arnold there’s a scene where ryan hits his first 800lb bench. It’s crazy to think it wasn’t all that long ago.

I know this is going to sound insane, but I wouldn’t doubt on seeing a 3,000lb single ply total in the next 10 years. Siders probably woulda gone 2,700+ last weekend judging by the bar speed on his lifs.

What is he weighing these days. I have road to the arnold he is a total freak, and like Hanley said it wasnt that long ago. I need the sequel now.

I could be wrong, and there might have been a rip in the space time continuum but I’m pretty sure you just linked back to this very thread.

Seen the 1110 board press, to lazy to link it though.

It was cool, I think the speed and full range of motion of the 1050 was more impresive.
