Not alot of volume, as I did not want to over do it, as my cold is still hanging in tight. I’ll try and go agains Sat. if my cold get’s better. This time of the year for my health is horrible.
Nice job getting in there, Scott. Working out normally makes me feel better, for a few hours. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to drive it away completely.

Agreed. Though it felt nice to move abit of weight.
Went in today , feeling abit better.
Sat.
Clean & Press up to 155x5 (I suck at these badly )
Conv Rack Pulls (3rd hole) up to 545x5
Farmer DMB Walks 110x40ft. / 115x40ft. / 125x30ft.
Seated Rows (60’s) 240x7/3/3
Plate Pinchs 25x60’s 35x45’s
You’re just beating the hell out of those weights. pr’s in deadlift and Bench in 1 week is fantastic, I see 4 plate bench presses in your near future.
x2
Excellent work! You are really pushing forward. 405# is right around the corner.
Thanks guys. I would absolutely love a 405 bench. Id think Id retire from lifting “heavy” after that. Of course , Id probably want more… haha.
I think the same thing. 405# is a big goal for me.
You will want more, though. Once you see those 4 plates on each side and feel it go up, you will think, “Man, wouldn’t four 45s and a 25 on each side look even better.”

Those goals may be a long way away, but at least you can say they are your goals with a straight face. Keep working hard.
First let me hope everyone had a good Christmas/Holiday.
Myself, mine was fine. I have not worked out much, due to my hips being in constant pain, again. However I still have gone a few times and sucked up the pain. Then payed for it later .
So…
Tues (w3/d1) – not been consistent, but this is where it would be
I had hoped the GM’s would place less stress on my hips than the squats I usually do. However, I still have some pain again today. Tomorrow is deadlifts. I’ll see how that goes.
Sorry to hear about the hip pain Scott, but sometimes it’s just a question of trying to work around things and just do something even though it’s not as much as you would want. Hope the pain clears up for you.
To quote something I read somewhere “keep on, keeping on!”

Thanks.
I went ahead and Deadlifted yesterday, even with the hip pain.
Rows 5x8
Sumo/Conv Deadlifts (80%) 415x5x3
Pyramid Bench (50-85%) 195/235/285/325/285/235/195/135
Rack Pulls up to 585x5
Band GM & Pullaparts 3x15
Lotsa pain after the rack pulls. Seems better today. It is what it is .

What’s going on with your hips?
Maybe you should just do conventional DLs if your hips are bothering you.
So sorry for the pain.
No idea what it is to be honest. Last time I had an x-ray, it showed nothing wrong with my hips, however, it did show I had/have arthritis in my lower back.
Even doing conv. DL’s seem to make them flare up. Just sitting hurts.
Thank you. It usually does not last this long, the pain that is, so hopefully I can get back into doing more work soon.
I was reading through your log, wondering how it is that a guy with such gut-wrenchingly big lifts could be so damned HARD on himself all the time. I’m getting a clearer picture. Anxiety bites. Most people don’t understand. I had it. Wife’s got it. Some of my friends got it. Interestingly, a lot of folks who lift have got it. Anyways, for what it’s worth you are a beast.
I’m finding myself saying that to a lot of people 'round this forum. This must be the powerlifitng equivalent of the elephant’s graveyard…

Thanks brother, I appreciate the kind words.
It’ll eventually all come together for me. I’m relentless.
