Add more side raises to your workouts. I’m a big fan of volume, so I would say do more of everything, but my workouts aren’t the best for every person. Just follow this advice. If you’re not pushing yourself to the limit where you could be getting overtrained, then get close to it. Hell, if you actually know where your overtraining limit is, then you can get more volume, frequency, intensity in and get better results. That’s just my philosophy.

Also, don’t be afraid to drop down to the 4 - 6 rep range for shoulders, even less. Especially on the presses. Lower reps will get those shoulders stronger. Afterall, your shoulders are used in every movement of the arm almost.
Thanks man, I’ll adjust my workout accordingly.

You think it would be better to throw more db lateral raises in, or throw some cable lateral raises in?

GB thanks also.

Just don’t go low reps all the time. I go anywhere from 1 - 20. 20 is only if I recently got a strength gain and didn’t know it yet and I was going for something like a 15 rep max, etc. I’d throw both of those in.

That’s a half inch added to both arms, and I’m up 8.2 lbs of bodyweight in 14 days.

I’m happy thus far.

I threw a bunch of new exercises at my arms today, so we’ll see how they’re feeling tomorrow… I’m thinking I really like the 1-arm skull crushers w/ dumbells

Legs tomorrow… we’ll see how strength is on squats!

Just wanted to give you guys an update on any side effects as well. Here’s what I’ve noticed. (forgive the obvious ones, but just so everyone can tell what’s going on)

Positive Side Effects:

 1. Increased muscle mass
 2. Increased strength (relative to size, nothing special)
 3. Increased libido
 4. Increased sexual function (duration and ‘strength’ )

Negative Side Effects:

 1. Back acne (Bacne)
 2. Facial oiliness and acne
 3. Injection frequency and pain for 24-48 hours after injection.

The injection pain is not severe or crippling, but the day after it can be difficult to lay on my side that I shot on.

No abcesses, test flu, or redness around injection sites.

Caloric Intake (4430) 315 grams of protein today

Great day, weight is up, personal record on deadlifts, and I mightve been able to do more but didn’t wanna slip a disc mid cycle…

Side note, my injection last night went wrong I think. After I shot, I sat in a reclining chair and then laid down and went to sleep… and the oil (I think) migrated or settled close to my coccyx/tailbone area, just above my posterior illiac crest. hurts like a bitch to bend over.
Feels like I got an epidural minus the painkiller or something, lol.

I had a really shitty leg workout the other night, had a lot on my mind and I just did squats and a few lunges and called it quits. I’ll probably work 2 workouts in tomorrow or friday and hit legs again, light weight.

If the oil is making its way to your tailbone then you arent injecting even remotely close to where you should be. Or deep enough into the muscle. Something is off thats for sure.

The above may be a little graphic and self explanatory!

LOL, I know, thanks for the pic man.

That’s where I’ve been injecting.

I think because I laid down that it kinda settled or moved… all I know is that I’ve been injecting in the outer right quadrant and this is the first time I’ve had this problem

I’ve been using a 1.5" needle all the way in. And maybe I should clarify, it’s not my tailbone, it’s my coccyx. Tailbone is down between buttcheeks, coccyx is basically directly left of injection side. If you look at the pic… it’s like the oil migrated 2" to the left… right against my backbone/coccyx. IDK it’s really weird…

MAYBE - the only althernative i can suggest - you managed to inject intermuscularly and the oil ‘seeped’ to the area of which you speak.

(‘of which you speak’ i would NEVER say that IRL, but it seems OK typing it… weird)

Brook

start using the ventro you wont have any problems like this

ya… KVA - the ventro is just a different way of accessing the same area you are currently using in the Glute.

Can i ask some questions?

How often are you injecting?
What volume is in each injection?
What sites do you use?

Anatomy fail. XD

Do you mean your ischial tuberosity of the ischium?

I thought the ventro site was to inject into the Tensor Fascia Latae… Thanks for clearing that up. I read into it a bit further. I understand now.

no… Unless i have been mis-led…

wait a minute… have you been injecting your TFL?
Brook wrote:

No. I don’t use, yet. The way it was always described on forums was as if it were in that muscle. Thank God I don’t.
