Are you taking a multi, K?

Yeah, I’m taking Animal Pak. I know lots of people knock it, but I have a bunch (at least a 3 month supply) from a long time ago… and I figure now would be a good time to use them. I had been using MegaMen or w/e the GNC one is.

Also, today my shot hurt like a BITCH. It burned realllly bad. I think I might’ve gotten the needle in too quickly after using alcohol wipe, that some of the alcohol got into my body, causing a burning sensation. Possible?

That was a couple hours ago… no pain now, just while injecting.

Day (9)
Weight (183.4)

Chest

Bench BB
135x10, 165x7, 175x5, 185x5, 195x5 (PR, recently)

5’ decline DB Bench
55x12, 55x12, 60x10

Incline Cable Fly
30x12, 30x12, 35x10

HS Wide Grip
110x15, 160x12, 170x10

Caloric Intake 4300

My body is getting noticeable bigger. I took a couple of pics so I will post them in the next post in a sec.

Sorry for all the posts I’m making, I know some don’t like the idea of a daily log like this, but I’m trying to make it as detailed as possible so that others can look at it from an experiemental point of view…

Anyway, it seems most of you might just be reading along, so I’ll post the pics up. Obviously there isn’t a HUGE difference… but I think I can tell a pretty good difference.

Also, I’ve been reading Thib’s article (part 1 and 2) about contracting the muscle you’re working, etc…

I’ve really been focusing on contracting the muscle, and not relaxing the muscle I’m working (unless it’s a compound lift) I feel this has REALLY helped me get a better workout from my excercises, especially DB Bench and cable flies… I’m kinda shoulder dominant in DB bench and this article really helped… you guys should check it out.

back shot.

sorry it’s a little crappy of an angle, but you can get a good idea of any progress being made.

my lower lats seem to be improving, i.e. you can actually see some lines…

ok I just failed… hard.

this is my back shot.

above is my front shot… my chest has filled out some…

I actually like cycle experience threads with a lot of posts. I learn quite a bit from them. I appreciate it.

Speaking of such, I appreciate your avatar.

Hey,

I want to say congrats on the responsible use of steroids. You didn’t just pop in some dbol and expect to explode.

On the other hand, you could have done what you have acheived in 2 months time without gear.

I’m not sure if you’ve seen my rate my phisique thread, but in 5 months, i went from scrawny to hawty (lol). In other words, 130 lbs to 150 lean. In a years and some months, i’m at 200 10%. I kept everything strict and on schedule.

You’re free to do what you like and i’m free to spam your log  good luck, post more pictures and work harder, you need it.

Thanks man, appreciate it. I’m well aware I could’ve done it without steroids… but then again, it’s a short cut. Kinda like speeding on the highway. Really fast speedind, and weaving. lol…

I’ll probably do update pics every 10 days or so.

Also, I found this great website that has little video clips of almost every exercise known. Pretty helpful as I’m trying to work my posterior delts more.

Here’s the link ExRx.net : Exercise Directory

On that note I’m off to hit shoulders and traps!

“then again, it’s a short cut”

my god

My God too.

KVA, you should be looking at steroids as an extension to that highway you call bodybuilding, not a carpool fastlane from the beginning. You know the faster you go, the quicker you run out of gas? Same thing with steroids muscle gains. I can guarantee you that you will be able to be bigger if you train for a few more years and then start gear than if you start gear now.

I did that and I can’t be happier.

Oh, and for your training, work on your deadlifts and squats more. For one, your back thickness is nonexistent. And two, you didn’t even post pics of your legs which goes to show how much you care about them. The back and legs are the foundation of your body. You use them more than anything else in your body. Build those up strong and the rest of your body will follow because right now, you look like an internally-rotated bench’n’curls kinda guy.

Too late.

That mentality ensures you will be one of those guys who loses EVERYTHING and ends up in MUCH worse shape than you would have been if you never trained at all!

Loser.

Only if he’d listen…

And I’m serious KVA, you really need to work on what I told you to work on. It looks like your back had all of its muscles surgically removed.

I hope not

I’ve been working a lot on Deads and squats. Back day has become my favorite day.

I’m listening to your advice, I want you to know.

I think there has been some improvement in my back if you look at the pics.

Also, that’s quite the hyperbole IMO… I might not be huge but c’mon… that’s a bit extreme, yes?

Also, I did post leg pics, I just didn’t post any leg update pics. It’s on the first (maybe 2nd) page of the thread. I love legs and they’ve always been one of my favorite body parts to train.

I actually have a pretty solid squat (relatively speaking) considering my lower back weakness. But yes, I am working on it.

Any critiques of my latest workouts? I’ve dropped the volume and upped the reps… strength has gone up a good amount…

Any positive or neg. feedback on my current training?

Thanks guys.

Add more side raises to your workouts. I’m a big fan of volume, so I would say do more of everything, but my workouts aren’t the best for every person. Just follow this advice. If you’re not pushing yourself to the limit where you could be getting overtrained, then get close to it. Hell, if you actually know where your overtraining limit is, then you can get more volume, frequency, intensity in and get better results. That’s just my philosophy.

Also, don’t be afraid to drop down to the 4 - 6 rep range for shoulders, even less. Especially on the presses. Lower reps will get those shoulders stronger. Afterall, your shoulders are used in every movement of the arm almost.

As for your training to don’t be afraid to drop down to 6-8 reps. You’re in the darkside now, move some weight. Yeah we need some pics of the wheels kay. As for the back thickness it will come stick to heavy rows and rack pulls. Those two have been doing wonders for me. -GB
