Yeeeeeeah i’m kinda fucking about with deads tbh, not really doing 531 for it. Doing more; 3 rep PR week 1, 2 rep PR week 2 and 1 rep PR week 3.

120k x 3 reps
135k x 3 reps
150k x 3 reps (PR)

Chins

5 sets x 8 reps

Bbell Curls

Bar x 5 sets x 15 reps

Nice PR on your deadlifts! It is nice to be able to add plates (however small) on TOP of the 3 per side…

Do you always wear a belt for deads? I have never tried one yet.

Thanks man.

Regarding the belt, I tend to just go by how my back feels on the day/set but I wear it more often than I don’t.

When I was a teen I used to think that it was lame to wear a belt, but after all the time off and therapy when my disc and low back muscles were beefed I began seeing things a little differently lol.

31/10/2013 | Cycle 6 Day 4 Squats

My tailbone is still giving me bother, at the top of each rep of squats I was getting noticeable pain and between each sets I was getting an odd dull sensation along with the pain like I needed to take a shit…so I decided to do no accessory work incase it exasperated the problem ever more.

Box Squats

105k x 5 reps
112.5k x 5 reps
120k x 5 reps (beltless PR)

This is exactly how I feel attempting to complete and format my dissertation literature review…

I’ve just seen the Men’s Health cover model winner and he was a lot bulkier than I would have thought they were looking for. Not completely ripped of course but carrying a lot more bulk in general. Just thought I’d let you know mate! Have you seen it yet?

That’s the shit thing with the whole Men’s Health comp, it’s so ambiguous what they will go for from year to year cause the range of physiques vary greatly.

Gettin’ strong in here bud. I remember how pumped I was the first time I benched 2 plates for a set of 5. Felt like I had crossed over into another realm of lifter, like I was semi-legit.

Hey Rattlehead, I was just wondering if you are going to any of the 2014 Commonwealth Games events and thought I’d let you know that there are still some Oly lifting events that aren’t sold out - I presumed they’d sold out long ago but I just got some tickets. Good job on the bench PR :).

I don’t think we would ever be lucky enough for him to get completely taken off the site, I hope that he gets disallowed from creating threads from now on though since the majority of his are just race baiting, narcissistic, irrelevant pseudo science shit.

Lol. Awesome, we got the Mens 85kg preliminary on Mon 28th. Not a great one, but no finals were left and we both wanted to see 85kg because that’s a close weight to us.
