I’m okay!
I have some scrapes and a hole in my right palm. I’m glad I was recording! I didn’t know where I was when I came to and believe it or not that was after the complete fall. My body naturally tried to catch me (like spazzing out in a dream). For a brief moment, I thought I hadn’t attempted 295 yet. Thank the Lord that I did, succeeded, and crawled away in one piece!
I just remembered that I got a little light headed after 285. Should’ve remembered that.
I move the bench into the rack to clear space for cleans. My intention was to have room to miss and dump the weight. Guess it also provides a nice buffer to the rack when you try to do a header into it.
Great work, I thought you were going full face plant, gave me a good laugh (only because I’d read you were ok first). 295 is solid work! Makes me want to power clean! (Apart from the fact I’d have no idea why I was performing the lift, but I rarely let that stop me).
Feeling beat up from my power clean celebration. The meaty part of my right hand is swollen quite a bit; so is my right shin. My neck, obliques, and some other core muscles that I can’t quite identify feel a bit strained.

No, running hasn’t done much for my weight. I haven’t lost a pound. I’m just enjoying life at home with my wife. She’s a terrible influence.
I’m a sympathetic drinker and she’s been buying more booze. She also buys good treats like cheese and I can’t resist. My hopes of getting down to 225 are just to buy me a buffer so that when I make poor decisions I don’t get too heavy. I’m good with my current weight, but I don’t want to creep up to 240.
