fuck yeah, i would too! im far from a newb, but shit, ill do it.
hell ya. I’ve been training about 5 years and made great progress and feel like i have a pretty good grasp on the training and nutrition aspects of the game, but i’d (as would most on this site) greatly benefit from this sort of opportunity.
zraw I know this feels very unmotivating to you, but I encourage you to pick another person. Perhaps someone who is not still in school, and has a strong determination, even if they have fooled around in a gym for awhile.
Long time lurker here…created an account to post my thoughts. JTown, if you truly don’t have the desire to commit to bodybuilding or Zraw’s plan, that is completely fine and you making the right decision. However, if you really wanted to follow the plan, you are definitely selling yourself short on your ability to play a sport competitively while eating/training well. I play college baseball, am a full time student, work 20 hours a week, train 5 days a week, and prepped for 12 weeks before competing in my first men’s physique competition during this past fall…again, managing school, work, and fall baseball practice.
What I mean is, it certainly can be done if the desire is there. As a previous poster stated, there are certainly more optimal ways to train for athleticism than “bodybuilding” training, you definitely won’t wake up huge in a few months. I’ve added about 35 lbs since I started training seriously three years ago, and my bat speed, arm strength, and flexibility have all improved or stayed steady. I would assume the same is certainly possible with lacrosse skills
I don’t get this. You’re long sticking Jlax so you’re playing the back end. & if you’re playing anywhere near the crease, you need the power to put someone on their ass. You realize quitting this will eventually carry over into the lax world. Day will come when a bigger, thicker, quicker attack man burns your ass. What’cha goin’ do then? Quit?!
But, like most 17 yr olds… young, dumb. & full of cum.

Looking at zraw’s last post and seeing how i will not be able to fully commit myself to this for another 1.5 months i will have to withdraw myself from this. I am very sorry for wasting your time and efforts zraw and hope someone else can still benefit from this. In all honestly bodybuilding just isn’t the first priority right now. Again sorry for all this.
I am kind of annoyed why anyone is trying to talk him into this. Julien nailed it “you couldve make it work. just dont want to imo.”

Let’s focus our positive energy on someone who actually wants this. #Chobbs4prez
going from subscribing to this thread to blocking Jtown. I don’t ever want to see another post from him. Screw the support he’s getting in here, he knew EXACTLY what the opportunity/commitment was. And on top of that, I’m convinced a great diet and workout plan would have benefited him within the context of the sport he claims to love so much. How could dedication to diet and training run counter to his goals in lax? This is just laziness, and I hope he realizes that sooner rather than later.

I know for a fact i will regret this and trust me i am not giving this up just because i am afraid of gaining mass. I literally don’t even have the time to eat all the meals zraw had planned let alone train consistently. My lax schedule changes every week and i know i can’t be consistent. Again i really am very sorry.
Sucks to see that you’re not willing to commit.
Just a little piece of advice: You should work on time management if you wish to attend college. Food for thought.

ugh, i sort of feel the same way, but did not want to pile on this kid, cuz, you know, kids are stoopid.
but ya, to wastes Z’s time all the time knowing he was not committed is pretty shitty, maybe all the negative reactions will be a good lesson for him and an opportunity to grow as a human and a man.

I wish I qualified as a beginner, I would have relished the opportunity to work with ZRaw. I can only assume most here would have.
i have been training at a high level for 25 years, and I would have loved an opportunity like this.
