This was after 6 grueling singles on the clean and push press (unintended, just had shitty leg drive) with 255.

Did stuff today. Some power shrugs, some hang cleans, some full cleans. I had completely different plans, but nothing quite worked out…
I do a lot of singles these days, so I can’t really decide when to cycle down to a max…
So, when do you think I should start to cycle down to a max squat/deadlift/front squat/clean/etc?
Got 6 hard as fuck singles at 390 on the front squat; I figure I can add another 2030lb before I bring that down to 4 singles.
Did 6 ridiculously hard singles on the clean and push press at 265lb. I just couldn’t get the clean right, I wan’t driving through my heals. I’m considering doing speed work once every 3 week cycle, most likely week 2, I need to lift maximally, and quickly. Followed that up with 6 singles with 405 on ATG back squats. They were hard, but I’m sure I could do that with at least 20 more pounds.
Did:
235x5x3 floor press, pretty easy.
235x6x1 hang clean, pretty easy; technique was an issue.
Failed a 440 front squat half way to lockout yesterday; goddamn hips gave out. Shouldn’t have done RDL/stifflegs the day before. Gonna do a speed week, a week off, then try 445.
Also played 3 games of football for the first time in my life. Only fell 5 times, 3 of them because I ran to fast.
That gamne, again, fucked up my tendon…
I need an off season.
