No, I wrote a little while back that I’d be competing in the Jersey Shore Stronggman Beach Bash 2 on July 8th at Caesar’s Palace, Atlantic City.

Squatted today:

This me doing a 455 Squat. My sets went:
Barx5
135x2
175x2
215x2
255x1
295x1
335x1
375x1
405x1
420x1
440x1
455x1

Now that I know, I’ll do no more then 6-7 sets.

Then I did some Zercher holds, lifting from about waist-level. I held 315 for 30 seconds, and then 405 for the same. I didn’t get video of that.

I decided to take next week off, and start working of of 5 week cycles, consisting of one DE week, 3 ME weeks, and 1 rest week.

On a non-lifting side note, I think I wanna be a stockbroker.

Yeah, I really noticed that. I need to set it at the 24th pin instead of 25. Also, haven’t squatted in so long, heavy walking feels weird. As soon as I can train events like the yoke (the bros are about to sign the lease and open up their gym), this will be a non issue.

Yeah, around nipple line is just about perfect. What’s the new gym going to be called? Warehouse setup? Private or public?

I believe a warehouse space in Millbasen, Brooklyn, NY. Private I believe. If you asking because you wanna come, don’t bother; I’m getting in because I know them. It’s pretty much a $200/Month CrossFit Affiliate + strongman gear.

Just started reading “Supertraining”.

I’m gonna start using a new loading pattern, as well:

Week 1: Speed - 60%, 8x2
Week 2: Max Strength
Week 3: Max Strength
Week 4: Max Strength
Week 5 (Current): Off

This me doing a 495 Frame Carry. My sets went:
Barx50 feet
135x50
225x50
315x50
405x50
495x50

Hard as hell, my grip was a weak link, and so was speed.

Doing manly shit.
Total Carrying time: 24 Seconds, counting regrip time.
Now lets add 105lb, and shave off 10+ seconds and I may just be strong…

Starting a CKD/IF diet tmrw.

Sun-Fri: Lowest possible carb, no set limit/structure really. Fast from 9PM to 1PM.
Sat: Binge, probably give myself a larger feeding window.

Carbs: 120g
Fat: 56g

Trying to cap of the carbs now, bring up the protein. Had to buy 2 heroes because the electricity went out for the whole block, so I couldn’t cook. It’s back on now, so I can.

I have 1.5h left to eat…
