I should be updating all these things weekly, on Saturday nights.
My god- 289 at my height and at your age. Looking wide from the back. Major props for getting the initial bulk of size done in such a hardcore manner… Be cool to see what’s underneath, but with your goals I’m guessing you’ll be taking the weight loss thing pretty gradually?

As fast as I can go without having any negative effects.
And I actually didn’t choose to be 289, it’s from maintaining the same diet, but without training legs or cardio/conditioning.

That’s fair enough I guess, you seem to be pretty smart with judging these things. I’m definitely the opposite to you in terms of how easily I gain weight, but it’s definitely treating you well in the sense that pretty much no one else your age is close to your numbers.

Indeed, and I honestly feel my numbers aren’t going to be effected by this at all. The problem is that most judge the decrease in strength by guys cutting from like 12-15% to contest condition, not guys going from 20+ to like 15%

Yeah, and I think the George Leeman case showed a much bigger extreme and he still maintained/improved his deadlift and kept his other numbers up there.

Hmm, I see.
My general idea is that I won’t cut past a 36-38 inch waist, because me $70 lifting belt won’t fit me anymore.

As good a reason as any… my belt won’t fit me if I go under 32… will have to use something else or go without if i ever contest diet
Yesterday (Monday) did DE Push Pressing, 205 for 8x2. One rep push press, one rep push jerk.
Did 3x8 on pullups; meh.
Did some laterals.
Did some cardio.
Did some Kettlbell swings yesterday as cardio; felt awesome. That’s the good news.
The bad news? My LEFT Achilles is fucked up now. About 10PM last night, all of a sudden, I couldn’t stretch it without severe pain. Mostly as a result of weight shifting from the right one. I’m only 3 days into a cut, WTF?
It’s called Sever’s disease.
Basicially, since the tendon/bone is still lengthening, it’s at greater risk of injury. I need to find a way to get stronger with lighter weight.
I’m glad I finally know the cause.

So your literally getting too strong too young? Lol at the rareness of that situation… but I hope it doesn’t mess up your training/goals too much if so.

Well it means A, that show is probably not going to happen. And B, I need to find leg training alternatives, for a fairly long time, that don’t load the calcaneal structures.

That sucks. I know your gonna do big things regardless though…
Sucks to hear about that, but you’re a smart kid with a strong will and good support. I’m sure you’ll figure things out. Do what’s best for you.

How do I lose weight, and still gain inches? It better be muscle…
Carb backload
like
eat only eggs and coffee for breakfast
as little carbs as possible after 12 pm but still eat
go to gym
come home
eat 2 pounds of carbs and anything else you want
Storm the Beach’s log has some good food suggestions for it
If I wanted to lose weight that’s what I would do fwiw
