Joint Mobility Specifics

In reading many of the posts here I have learned that my squat would benefit greatly if i increased mobility of various joints. I was wondering if anyone knew of a specific optimal ROM (or is it individual)…either specific (eg 10 degrees dorsiflexion) or general (eg knee should be able to go whatever inches past knee).

If anyone knows this info please post. Think it would be beneficial to everyone. Thanks!

different for everyone

Mobility drills should be part of everyone’s warm-up routine. Along with this, a few corrective exercises before your heavy lifts will never be a bad thing. Find a (good) trainer for some ideas on corrective exercises specific to your mobility shortcomings. Always take the post-workout recovery phase seriously with foam rolling, soft tissue work, and stretching.
