The are no cheap PRs!! Only BS PRs, of which this is not!
Nice work, Joe. I am actually envious of the rep range you are falling into right now. I know the higher rep crap is good for me, but getting to a weight where you can only squeeze out a small handful of reps feels so good.
The workouts are looking good and I have no doubt these heavy sets are going to really pay off.
Thanks Strick, I’m hoping they pay off. If I can keep my pressing 5 and 3 weeks going I might have several more months before I have to reset.
Nice job on the bench. What is your weight right now? Is that too personal? You seem to be making a lot of good progress. Even though you wore capri’s the other day I’ll look past that:)

Great job! Back to back PRs and 1 for a new max. I think you are right. If the 5s and 3s can keep up, you won’t be resetting for a bit.

I’m trying to up my food and recovery in an effort to still keep hitting those numbers.

ROFL, surely you should know by know theres nothing you can ask thats too personal.
Right now I’m weighing in the 196-198 range. I’m slowly putting on size but sadly its almost all going to my upperbody. My back and shoulders are exploding, my chest and arms are growing a bit, and my legs stay the same size. They get harder and harder but don’t really grow.
I am growing an ass though according to me female friends.

That’s been my philosophy as well. Good job, Joe.
Thanks, I always wonder if I’m doing things “optimaly” so it tends to cause me to second guess my self.

The PR train keeps rolling. Did you have a spotter for that bench PR?
In fairness, as long as I get more than more rep on the money on week 3 its always going to eb a cheap PR.
I sort of had a spotter, the only guy in the gym at the time was prety weak but I figured he might be able to get the bar off of me if it stappled me. Luckily I didn’t have to find out but I was kind of worried.
