Muscles don’t get no bigger if the lifts pretty. That’s why it’s called ugly strong. Good milies.
Very nice work here JG! Keep on rockin’!
Some really good lifting Joe. You made those pulls look too easy. Next time growl, spit and slap your face in front of the camera for added effect.
nice work joe…
If I didn’t know Id swear you were sandbagging in that video

Thanks
Honestly Kevin, I bet I can pull 425-435 but the lift still feels odd to me so I’m not pushing it too hard just yet.
Thanks everybody, I’m just glad you guys didn’t see just how ugly that last millie was.

Glutes destroyed, I need a nap and a roast beef IV.
Edit: I put in the PR just for Strick.
A roast beef IV. That’s right up my alley.
Ah yeah. Your good for 425…at least. Great work, Joe.

It should be covered by insurance.

Thanks, I’m going to see how things feel on Sat.
Nice work again…
watching your videos again, I’m betting your good, for 435
I pulled that a few months ago for a max, then pulled 425 for doubles and triples.
the other day snatch gripping 405 makes me think 450 or more is possible…
really what I need and I see it happening here is some consitent scheduled training and food.
I have really enjoyed watching what goes on in here maybe cause we are close in size ( sort of)
You can take down 425 easy…Nice pulls, Joe.

First bench came up fast and felt light. With a spotter I probably could have gotten 4, maybe. Either way I made the prescribed reps. I wasn’t sure I was going to.
Joe- Nice work on bench, young man. DO you do your V bar pull downs leaning back? I could never get the right feel with those.

I lean back but not with the over down lean. Just enough for it to really hit my back and not just my shoulders.
Great job, Joe! Still pulling the PRs! And after the next deload, you’ll probably hit reps again. Ride it for all it’s worth.

Messed around with reverse BB lunges and BSS’s but still working on form and not ready for a real load.
Money set form was not good. Low back is acting unstable, below 235 and its gold, 245 and above it is making me second guess my self.
Is that dividing line on your low back the reason you are interested in belts?

Kimba, exactly. My low back is strong enough for the weight and I don’t have any pain, it just feels odd. Plus my pulls are getting to the point I might want to start using a belt. At least for rack pulls.
