WooHoo! Someone dedicated something to me! I rock!
Actually, you rock, Joe. Nice, nice, nice PR! Bet pulling those 8 plates off the floor felt awesome.
Congratz!
Joe, a 400+ pull is a huge accomplishment. But I’m guessing you are gunning for 500 now. ![]()
Sweet.
Four plates feels good!!!
nice work Joe.
Yay! I’m happy for you Joe, you have when wanting that one for awhile.
Now of course I realize you are planning 500 lbs in the near future. Do it when I am there, I’ll make a video!
Great job Joe. You must feel a mile high right now. That’s a big one for sure.

Thanks Kimba, it felt great but you are right, I’m thinking about 500 now.

As much as I want to pull 500 I don’t think I’ll be ready to try it until around the end of the year in the best case senario.

I was feeling pretty pumped and all of the brotards were just looking at me like I’d choped someones head off.
Funny how that works. As soon as you hit a big number, the jubilation fades into a sense of being unsatisfied.
500# won’t be long in coming. Great work.
On 5/3/1, 500 it will take a little less than a year assuming no resetting of maxes. It took me about a year to get from 400 to 500, once I take out the time lost due to back injury.
Nice work Joe. The first 4 wheel lift from the floor is always special and gets you “respect-space” in the gym.
Nice work Joe. Now I’m gonna have to try it soon, so that I can keep up with your “crappy lifts”.
The Gold’s I lift at is so wimpy, that when I pulled 375, some guy came up to me to tell me about his friend that fills up the whole bar with plates. Thank goodness this site is around to show me what a wimpy dilettante I truly am.

Yeah I’m still “proud” but now I want the next goal. I’m really going to try and keep my eyes on 450 and not think to hard on 500 just yet but the round numbers are much nicer.
Thanks.

I can’t imagine that I won’t have to reset for another 12 months. When I reset I am going to add in more heavy sngles like I’ve sen wendler talk about and maybe that will speed up the mex numbers a little.
As I’ve said before you numbers serve to inspire as we are about teh same size but you are WAY stronger.

Thanks PG, thats exactly how I feel reading everyone’s journals.
Nice work on the pulls. And ‘brotards’? I like that one.
