Feels good to be back at it, I bet. 1st week back always feels off to me, but good to be back in the saddle. Looking good, Joe.
I think the Tbar rows w/170 are pretty impressive. Are they working your lower back, too. Is that why you want to take them out the day before deads?

Hel, getting it into position and holding it steady while I row it does seem to be working my lower back.

Thanks, Strick it felt a lot better and this time the weight didn’t feel quite as heavy as it normally does coming off of a deload.

Well, when or if you figure out how to keep the weights not feeling heavy, right after a deload, please share!
Nothing wrong with 7 on that money set.
P.S. I’m not sure what a t-bar row from the floor actually is.

Its how you do them when your gym doesn’t have the chest supported t-bar. You put the end of a barbell in a corner of the room. Then you load the other end, in this case with 170lbs, then you use the V-bar from the seated row machine and hook it under the barbell at the collar of the loaded end. Then you grip the v-bar and row the weights up to you chest.
Here is a video of a kid doing 115lbs.
Great trianing Joe. The 5/3/1 is really working for you. Personally I try not to do anything to taxing like rackpulls or rows the day before deads and squats.
Yeah eco and I’m beginning to agree with you.
So I got an email froma friend asking if I wanted to do this.

Its the warrior challenge and its coming to Georgia. It will be dirty, and painful, and utterly retarded and I’m absolutely going to do it.
That looks fun!

lol…I was thinking the same thing. Someone’s been playing opossum!
That Warrior Race does look fun. If I could run more than 30 yards without being out of breath, I might entertain the idea of saying I would do it.
Happy New Year, 300x10 great job!
that race does look fun

np - so what was the heavy single?
Gotta scroll back up to see it, but it was 375. Joe’s gonna break out a 405 from the floor in a cycle or two.
Nice pullin, Joe. I agree, 405 is just around the corner.
