With three straight days of lifting i was sure I wasn’t going to be able to do my normal rack pull volume so I did some singles instead. I missed that 600 by inches…

nice work Joe, looking strong.

Sick work Joe, man can you pull!!

Great work, Joe.
Hope you have a Merry Christmas!

Looking strong over here. 600 will go up soon. Have a Merry Christmas Joe.

Joe, that is some strong pulling. I can’t even imagine what 600 looks like on the bar. Have a great holiday!

I hope for Christmas you get your 600# pull. You’ve had a great year of lifting. Merry Christmas to you and yours. Looking forward to following your lifting next year.

Merry Christmas, Joe!

Merry Christmas everyone

Didn’t box squat due to Christmas Eve time pressures. Will be replcing them with something like Anderson squats very soon. Need to fix depth issues on money sets.

I love the smell of squats on Christmas Morning! Nice work, Joe, just wanted to stop in and wish you a Merry Christmas.

Jack

Joe- Best of luck with your lifting in 2010…and that it badass training on X-mas morn…

Deload to Reload, Joe…doing a great job…but boy do I understand the boring part! Good discipline!!

thanks OG, its hard to say motivated during delaod cause everything feels heavy and yet it isn’t.

So I have decided to spice things up on deload weeks by making that the week I bump the weights on the assistance lifts. I’ve cut my volume by 40% so a few extra pounds shouldn’t make a difference, I hope.

Depends on the volume of the assistance work. Deload weeks are to recover in, after all. That said, some of the more famous internet trainers recommend maintaining intensity but cutting over all volume…

Glad thats over, deloads bore me.

Tomorrow I start cycle number 4 and I’m considering some changes. Doing t-bars from the floor the day before deads seems to be counter productive as does doing rack pulls the day before squats. I can add in kroc rows for one the back exercises and find something else for the others.

The issue though is that I really enjoy both t-bars and rack pulls. I’m just concerned that I might be short changing my main lifts because of them

Or maybe I’m just concerned about nothing.
