JoeGood Gets Better - Rehab & Progress

Damn it Joe, now I have to go back to the drawing board. Excellent work, man… Congrats…9x310 is nice!! Those pulls are OG approved!

Thanks guys, the good pulling day take the sting out of a crap bench day. Sort of.

Bench

3x170
3x195
5x220

5x10x145

Rack Pulls

5x10x415

HS Ab Crunch

5x10x105

Damn good pullin. And it’s your legs growin makes them pants tight.

Wow. I just realized that you are doing deads AND rack pulls in the same week…and adding GMs on the deads day. Ouch! Ouch! Ouch! You must have a back of steel.

Thats some damn good training all around Joe

Nice Pulling!!!

its those damn rack pulls

nice work

Joe- bench work looks good to me!! have you thought about maybe switching up assistance work to see if that helps you? CGBP or dips seem to help me, but don’t take advice from a goat when there other more intelligent and accomplished sources on this site.

Yeah OG I’ve been thinking about switching things up but for right now I’m going to stick to it and maybe up the weight on the assistance stuff.

LS, its more I’m just so damn thickhead I can muddle through all the back work.

Cycle 3-Week 2-Day 4

Squat

3x170
3x195
9x220

5x10x150

24" Inch Box Squats

5x10x190

Pull Throughs

5x10x65

I might have a new lifting partner. While I was lifting today I noticed a young woman doing squats with really good form and she worked up to a high set of 8 reps of 175. Now this girl was about 5’1" and maybe 110lbs. Turns out she is the catcher for the University softball team and she sort of looks it. Shes by no means fat but she’s slightly thick(muscled) and bottom heavy.

Anyway we got to talking and she might be coming into the gym a bit later to lift with me a few days a week. It would be nice to have a spotter.

Wow…she weighs about the same as me and can squat that much. Impressive. Good spotter recruitment effort, Joe!

Well to be fair she’s built to squat where as you are long and lean. I mean a catcher has to be great at squatting right? At one point we compared quad sweep and her’s was much better than mine. I’m hoping our schedules click.

Yeah, good point. I would expect a catcher to be a champion squatter.

Damn, I hope “long and lean” will be a good build for some lift out there.

Prolly the other way around, but I am damn hot.

Cycle 3-Week 3-Day 1

Milies

5x100
3x115
4x130

5x10x80

T-bars from the floor

5x10x155

Standing EZ Curls

5x10x60

I had to start this week a day early because the holidays are going to foul up my routine the next two weeks. I was hoping to get at least 5 or 6 on the money set today. Sadly it didn’t work out that way. Four reps is not so hot but its better than nothing I guess. I did bump the weight on my BBB assistance so maybe that will help.

Hey hottie, good lifting.

I’m jealous, Joe! Nice lifing!

Joe- You got 3 more reps than required so carry on…nice training! Millies drive me crazy…I love doing them but whenever I feel like its going to be a good day with them, I suck and vice versa…Keep banging away, man.

Cycle 3-Week 3-Day2

Dead lift

5x255
3x290
7x325

5x10x185

5x10x140

V-bar press downs

5x10x65

Day two of my sucky three days in a row. Very pleased with the deads though. hopefully I can not suck on bench tomorrow.

325 x7, great work!
