solid back work out.

I have a question for you Kevin. I think I can drop my SLDL’s from my Friday workout as the Deads and Deficit deads seem to be hitting my Ham’s hard enough. Do you think it would be a bad idea to drop the SLDL’s at the end.
I know you didn’t ask me, but I would say yes.
Yes its a bad idea or yes I can do it?
I could be mean and just say “Yes” again, but I think you can drop the SLDL if you’re doing Deficit DLs.
Skid is smarter then me about training… I just know how to rock some abercrombie and use a
foam roller-
if the movement is redundant skip it. Deficits are hard, and hit both the hammies and low back pretty good.
so I would say yes too.
No expert but I rotate the deads with the sldl. I’ve dropped the deficits for the time being cause breaking deads off the floor isn’t a sticking point.
Now that you’re ending your cutting do you go back to putting weight back on?
hel: Yeah I’m going to try and put some more muscle on. After my surgery I weighed a whopping 160lbs so 185 isn’t really a horrid result for 8 months I guess. Still when I gain weight I gain the fat pretty much in abdomen and so every so often I’m going to have to cut to chop that back off. I have a very small wife (4’ 10") so its good to keep the old gut in check.
I had an SCA tourney this weekend and in the second melee( team fights) I ended the battle with a broken nose, concussion, and pinched nerve in my neck. Took a charge from a 330+ guy and my chin strap broke and then my head negatively impacted with the ground. Finished the tourney, did a bunch of pick up fights and yesterday played in my football game. Feeling like steamed crap but will try and put it together when I hit the gym today. Headache is almost gone…

Hard-Core, Joe! I guess there was no choice but to meet him head-on?
