I found a brief description on EliteFTS.com on how to perform it, but can someone break it down on here? I’ve seen it done a couple different ways.
Is it basically taking a close grip with tucked elbows and lowering it to the chin/neck and pressing it back? Or is there some kind of extension involved?
I’ll leave the explaining to Dave Tate:

I dont know if any of those links mentioned it, but there are two ways to do JM presses.
Minimal movement at the shoulder, making it basically a tricep extension to the neck, throat or upper chest.
More movement in the shoulder, making it basically a close grip bench to the neck, throat, or upper chest.
#2 allows more weight, but #1 is more of an isolation exercise. Im sure you can figure out which one to use and when.

I lower the bar over my chest about half to 2/3 of the way down just like I’m doing a close grip bench. Then I drop it back up over my neck and snap it straight up.

Well I obviously want to use it as an assistance movement to improve my bench and military.
Great find on both those videos. Also a Testosterone t-shirt in the Westside video!
