Jake, you’ve pissed me off for the last time.
My current cycle gives me higher blood pressure… you just about put me over the edge…
Why? It isn’t like I am leaving or anything. I just don’t want to post on this thread anymore.
Get down to low bodyfat? As I mentioned before, I take off fat quickly. By getting my body fat around 10% then trying to get my muscle mass back up again is like taking one step back to go one forward. With my present diet and my daily scale measurements, I have noticed I have actually lost weight. Weighted myself this morning at 181.2lbs. While I am losing, it is happening slowly. I have also noticed I have got leaner (compared to where I was before).
When I was 230, as you can imagine, I was much fatter. I feel this contributes to why I still have a lot of fat on me. But, if I am losing weight, and I continue to get stronger (I have a little ways to go to get as strong as I was), it just makes sense that I am losing bodyfat and gaining muscle right? And, to get my bodyfat below a certain number, of course I am going to have to switch my diet around and take out all the carbs, but right now, it just seems counter productive to drop the calories a bunch. Also, just so you guys know, I have had my BP tested and it is completely normal they have told me.
Correct me if I am wrong in my reasoning.
Ya know what Jake.
I’m going to do you a favor here bud. A real favor. I’m going to honestly answer any questions or concerns you may have. Any of them. Seriously. You can ask what sex position achieves the quickest orgasm for all I fucking care.
My reasoning for this-- Bushy is right. You don’t know much, no offense but you don’t, and if you continue to be stubborn and ignorant, you will remain the slovenly and out of shape individual you are that stumbles blindly through the world of fitness.
So I’m going to do absolutely everything I can do to help you out. Everything Jake. You ask and I’ll tell.
I only have one condition for this. You lower your test dosage to 600mg/wk. I normally save 5, but you’re stubborn sumbitch and that extra 100mg probably can’t hurt you too bad. Personally I don’t think you’re ready for AAS at all, but I know you’re going to do them and I want to make sure you don’t get injured and don’t fuck yourself up in the process.
So there ya have it jake, I guess I’m the first member of your “team” and hope I can do anything and everything to make this cycle safe, sane, effective, and enjoyable.
World
Against my better judgement I am reposting this from another thread from a guy who wanted the same approach but didn’t know how all the pieces fit together:
Part_A. Work out 6 days per week
A1. 3 days on this workout:
Squats 50reps
OHP 25 reps
Deadlifts 50reps
Dips 30reps
Chins 30 reps
A2. The other 3 days you will do a HIIT aerobic routine
30minutes divided into something like this
5min warm-up
15min work = 1min Hard / 2 min low (hard as like your heart will explode)Do this for 5 cycles
10min to get your heart rate back to normal.
After the HIIT work on your rehab routines for shoulder and knee. Finish off with all body flexibility.
Part_B. Nutrition
B1. Meat, Fish, Fowl
Whenever you feel hungry this you will eat first
B2. Whole wheat bread, Brown Rice, Potatoes, Yams, Fruits and oatmeal
B3. Vegetables
Plan on buying 1lb of vegetables (any kind you like) add them to the meat and consume it with it. This is to allow your stomach to process more protein.
B4. Fats
Do not consume anything deep fried, breaded, prepackaged or manufactured in any kind. EFA’s are ok in minimum amounts during the breakfast only.
Part_C. Rest
Figure on going to bed a MINIMUM of 2 hours before midnight. So you will be resting as long as necessary (9 to 11 hours) every day. No exceptions to this rule. The body grows when it is resting not while training or eating.
Now do Parts A, B and C every day from now until this time next year and there is a good chance, with your age and height, of gaining a good 30lb of bodyweight. Most of it will be muscle and if you did the HIIT plus the weight training and rested enough for assimilating the nutrients, you will be faster, bigger and stronger.
This is the best advice I can give you. This is the basic template I used to go from 115lbs to 180lbs naturally in 3 years. (of course you have more discipline and pain tolerance than me so your results may be even bigger).
Now, this was my basic template and the one I still use most of the year. I continue to make quality gains in strenght and muscle mass of this naturally and more so when supplementing. I attribute this to correct execution and attention to details before I ever touched an anabolic. I am well above the 190mark and this is for a 5’6 (174cm) guy who was skinny fat to start. Bloodwork, and everything else is perfect. And If anyone was to ever meet me and didn’t know my age wouldn’t have a clue as how old I am.
You are in better condition to reap the benefits of an integrated approach, but IMO what you need is some flexibility in your line of thought. You are a smart person and you have experience in what is the best for your body, however most of us here have walked and tried the same things you are trying to do now. Take advantage that most senior vets are still willing to share their knowledge. In other parts of the world information like this would cost hundreds of dollars or even more, and probably would use some deceptive marketing to keep you spending dollars.
Ultimately, it’s your choice to go raw food or not. The old timer’s did it and got good results from it, but there was a reason it has been forgotten and that is because it didin’t stand the test of time. I tried it here in Japan, out of convenience, and all I got was bloating; and extremely foul gases. And I must say that the quality and freshness of all perishable products in Japan rival many in America and Europe (lived in both areas for several decades). Not trying to be disrespectful here to other countries, just stating the adherence to six sigma that the Japanese have with respect to their food and drinks.
When I restarted cooking the eggs, livers, fish and meat, the gases and other stomach problems were gone. However Japanese people constantly eat all their eggs raw, their livers raw, their fish raw and other foods raw without any gases, upset stomachs an similar problems. I now believe that some people are blessed with different levels of digestive enzymes and no sense fretting over it. Adjust as needed to get your goal and forget about what didn’t work.
However, I also understand that we are all dealing here with grown-ups (well most of us are), who understand the meaning of actions and consequences. You have made-up your mind , and whatever the consequences of your actions; I am sure you will not blame anyone else but yourself and face them like the man that you are.
I just got back from the gym. I have to take my dogs down to the park then I will be back. Then I will comment on here.
Ok, wow. I will take you up on this offer. I don’t like the fact that I have to decrease dosage one bit at all, but since I know I could learn a lot form you, I feel it is definitely worth it giving that up. Where would you recommend we start? And do you want to do this va PM or va this thread?

Oh just do it here so everybody can see and reply themselves as well…
You seein the light Jake? Good stuff here for the taking. Take advantage of it.
So Jake, would you like me to help with your training as well or how we gonna do this here?
You claim you have one hell of a work ethic. Prove it.
Ok, sure. Thing is I am just finishing the second week of the program I just designed. As you guys know, my roommate is my workout partner. We were planning on doing this program for 6 weeks then switching it up. By the time I quit (if i wait 6 weeks), I will be finishing the third week of my cycle. I would like to keep my roommate as a training partner if I could because we push each other pretty hard.
Thing is, I don’t know how he will respond to this new program. I guess I will jut have to find out huh? He is pretty damn pissy as it is (to say the least). I just put up with it for the most part because other than this, hes a good training partner.
Oh, I love to feel like I killed myself in the gym when my training session is over. So if possible, give me something that can achieve this.
As for diet, I am always hungry. This is even with the present amount of food I eat. So I don’t know what you would have in store for this.
Where ever you think we should start is up to you. You’re being nice enough to take the time to help me out, so I will leave it up to you to decide.
Well for starters you gotta clean that diet up. Like Bushy said, you can’t be combining your fats and carbs. You apparently have some serious issues with body fat.
Eat what you want, but make it 6 meals all with +60g protein. P+C for the first 2 and P+F for the last 4. Something else I suggest is cooking your food. This is a matter of preference, but I bet by cooking it, you may be able to aid your digestive process and eliminate some of the problems you’ve been having.
Something else I want you to do is start doing morning cardio on an empty stomach. It doesn’t have to be insane, but it does need to be done. Wake up and go walk around or jog for 30-60 minutes every morning. That,in conjunction with a proper diet, will help you drop some of that bodyfat.
As far as what you said about killing yourself in the gym, it’s nor always necessary. The best example of this is DC training, less can be more. I believe it was Lee Haney who said that “You don’t want to annihilate it, you want to stimulate it.”
That being said, I’ll PM you several different routines that I think could benefit you pre-cycle.
As far as your actual cycle goes, I’m going to tell you wait 3 more weeks. A lot of people here will disagree with it because they want to see this get moving, but I am of the belief you can still get a lot of work done before then that will greatly benefit you on cycle.
Ok, looks good. I will try to comment more on this tomorrow (probably going to be tomorrow evening because I have a very busy day tomorrow). Right now, I am working on 4 hours of sleep. I didn’t get 1/2 hour nap today after training, so I am tired as fuck. I will talk to you guys tomorrow.
Just got done changing the clutch in my truck. Fuck’n thing took me over 9 hours to change, and I am officially pissed because I didn’t anticipate it would take nearly so long. I will get you a post some time tomorrow evening, no excuses.
World,
I just got a chance to read all of your post and PMs through thoroughly. I will implement everything starting tomorrow. I have already got started with my diet today. Also, I have been doing morning cardio on an empty stomach first thing in the morning for the last 2 or so weeks. I have missed a few days though, but I will get consistent with this for you.
That training program looks like it is going to be great for fat burning purposes. I have never done something like that before, and I look forward to doing it. Do you want me to post my routine on a daily basis in this thread? And… do you want me to do the same with diet and pics here (in this thread)? Do you want my first lifting day to be monday?
Here is what my diet will look like (question at bottom)
