So you’re using the excuse of “powerlifting” to rationalize your shitty physique then?
And the last time I checked, a 405 deadlift is not powerlifting by any standards. Well oh yeah, and I just don’t believe the majority of your numbers anyway.
If you truly want to powerlift, you need to build a foundation of strength first-- you have none.

It wasn’t 405, it was 475. But still, who’s to say weight is a factor in power lifting? I could be deadlifting less than 100lbs and still powerlift. Build a foundation? What better way than to get your three core lifts up?
Nevermind, I misread your answer. Regardless, you should pay attention to your physique. You can be a powerlifter and a big lean guy if you gave it half a chance. I personally do not care about my numbers, just my size. I am pretty weak for my size, but that doesn’t matter to me. We are all different, but we should all care about how we look to some extent.

What better way to get your three core lifts up… is your answer steroids? Because if it is, it’s wrong. It’s hard work, dedication, and appropriate diet. Oh, by the way, girls don’t care about numbers. If your number make you feel better than your physique, then whatever, thanks fine. Its not my body, but I wouldn’t want that.

No, my answer is to get my three core lifts up (bench, squat, and deadlift). I am still interested in bodybuilding, but I feel I shouldn’t even be worrying about it until I get my basic lifts up. Once I have a solid foundation in strength it is definitively going to help me if I decide to go bodybuilding. Besides, I have seen some powerlifters with some incredible looking physiques. This isn’t to say that I am not interested in gaining size because I am, but powerlifting can very easily put some good quality size on you.
Ok, just shot some pictures, and I think it would be better if I shoot some shots tomorrow morning (like i did with the first shots). I am a little bloated right now from eating and it shows. I know you guys are going to be very excited to hear that I have gained a little body fat. As I said before, I don’t care if I gain a little body fat as long as it is not a lot of body fat. If I have gained more than a little noticeable amount of bodyfat, yes, I will go back to eating how I was before. The question many of you may ask is “why didn’t i take your advice early on,” and my answer will be because “I needed to see for myself.” Anyhoo, we will see tomorrow.

Do you really think doing half a back work out at the gym and then the other half at home is going to be anywhere near productive?
Yes. Remember again, I am doing powerlifting. Not bodybuilding. Big difference. For strength purposes, it works. Just go look around at the westside threads and jonathansucks pages around here. Same type of training. Look at the numbers they put up. Yeah, a lot of them use equipment such as bench shits and squat briefs. The only thing I use is athletic tape to tape my wrist and chalk. My goal is to get my raw strength up and it will come in time.[/quote]

Picture could look better. I honestly do not see much of any change in your physique, but if that was not what you were going for, then good job on the lifts. Throw up some measurements!
Haven’t trained the last couple days. Although I did do some pullups, shoulder rotations, and scapular squeezes yesterday. my body and joints have been really sore for some reason, so I have been taking it easy. Hopefully I will feel better tomorrow. Planning on ME bench tomorrow. I am hoping I can break 300 tomorrow. I will bring my video camera with me.
I have fully completed 5 weeks of my cycle so far. A few weeks ago I increased the dosage of my testosterone because I haven’t noticed any of the usual side effects. Although I have gained some muscle mass and a little strength, this has been about all I have noticed. Here are some of the usual side effects that I have not noticed:
Increase in libido. In fact, my libido has been less than normal.
Better pumps in the gym. Ok, I’ll admit, maybe it is the way I train.
Enhanced recovery. My recovery rate actually seems like it is less than normal. I am sore all the time, and I know I am not over training. I used to train much more in the past, and I never felt this beat up.
Increase in appetite. Appetite has been pretty normal
Oily skin. My skin is very dry like usual, and I have experienced no acne.
Increase in facial hair growth. Yeah, this is another one that not too many people experience, so I am not too worried about it.
I will get a body weight read for you guys tomorrow. But I am pretty sure I am still around the same weight. I am eating around 4-5 kcal/day. In the past, I have been at this bodyweight and been at least as strong as I am now. Does this sound like I should be worried?
I am getting a ton of rest and taking a lot of fish oils on my high fat days. I really don’t think it is my training because I used to train the same way much more frequently and wasn’t all that sore.

Your training is shit. You need to man up and admit you’re the cause of your troubles, not the gear and implying you’ve got bunk shit. But you won’t do that.
No, despite my training, I should notice at least something from my gear… Especially with the amount I have experimented with. I am going to give this another week. If I don’t notice anything, I am going off.
