Jake's First Cycle Log

Monday 04/07/08 training

I was supposed to do DE bench today, but I was very busy all day with school shit. I can’t do it tonight because I have to work. I will get it done tomorrow… no question.

First I’d like to state that I haven’t juiced [yet], and that I read the steroid forums for educational purposes so I don’t fuck my shit up when I decide to start my first cycle.

With that, you seem like you’re wasting your time, money and gear with what you’re doing. You’re not eating accordingly, you’re missing workouts and when you do lift what you’re doing makes little sense. I know you’ve defended yourself over these observations repeatedly, but if you’re not making progress WHILE ON GEAR, it’s time to make some changes. Everyone else see’s this man, it’s time to open your eyes, stop being so stubborn and take some of the awesome advice that’s been tossed your way.

As someone who is getting there first cycle together I have to say that I am learning a lot from this thread. I’m learning what you shouldn’t do. In my opinion and this is just my newbie opinion. I would think when it comes to nutrition, that I would make sure that the person is educated in it or has a lot of experience in it. So much to the point that I would have no hesitations.

I’m a personal trainer and nutritionist and even though I think I know quite a bit when it comes to eatin right but I have learned quite a bit from the vets on here and you can bet that I’ll come here first for nutritional advice once I start my cycle. I’d like to thank the vets for helpin the ones who truely want to learn.

On another note, I would have to agree with WhiteFlash. It just seems like your wasting your time and money not to mention everyones time on the forum. I mean it doesn’t seem like ur dedicated to it. I mean shit if i’m gonna invest in gear then I’m gonna bust my balls to get everything out of it. What I want to know is, if your not going to listen to the vets when they offer advice then why waste your time posting shit? These are just my thoughts and opinions and I’m not tryin to offend anyone.

Notes:
I starting to feel much more solid on my speed bench today. Speed has definetly picked up. When I added another chain to each side, my speed slowed down quite a bit, so I took off the additional chain. I have been watching the EliteFTS bench press index over and over again to try to get my form better on the bench, and I would say I have noticed an improvement. Was going to add some blast strap push ups at the end of my session, but I was feeling pretty hammered. Might do some pullups tonight.
I can’t believe how much my pullup strength has decreased. I need to get this up and I am getting real sick of them. The only way I am going to get better at these is by doing them and doing them OFTEN! I am so pissed, I think I am going to start doing pullups everyday. A little drastic, sure, but I think in due time I shall be rewarded.

pullups everyday dont leave much time to rest/Grow!

Notes:
Used a sumo stance on my squats today. It has been sometime since I have squatted sumo! Needless to say, I was tighter than shit in my hips. I need to start doing my hip mobility exercises again. I was reviewing some of my training logs from a couple of years ago, and it seemed like I was making the best progress on my squat when I was doing it sumo , so that is what I am going to be focusing on for some time. Since I have a squat rack at my house, I might doing some olympic squats tonight. I will keep you posted!

I tried to get some olympic squatting in tonight, but I didn’t see it as happening. Since I worked by back and chest yesterday, my flexibility was gone in my upper body. I tried stretching my chest and lats for a good 20 minutes, but didn’t do all that much. So i said screw it! and I did front squats olypmic style. I only used 135, but god did these feel much heavier than they usually do.

Maybe it is because I haven’t done these in a while and am beat up today. I hope that is the case. Next Monday, it will be the beginning of my 4th week on cycle. As I said before, I haven’t noticed anything as of yet. If anything, I am much more tired than I usually am. I am hoping this stuff will start kicking in soon!

Here is what I did tonight:
Front squats
135x3x5 deep as I could go (don’t laugh, I know these suck)

04/10/08 Bodyweight (lbs): 189.0 (before dump)

Notes:
I have my 9th injection today. My weight sucks, and I definitely need to get it up. I really do need to start eating more. I am still slightly sore from the bench routine I did 2 days ago. So I haven’t decided if I am going to train today.

Jake,

We have all really started to realize that your training and diet arent up to par with what the rest of us would have in mind.

However something else thats starting to possibly come into the light is that I think you may also have gear that sucks. 9 injections at 2 per week if this is the route you are going I would hope to be up 10-15 lbs by now and not sloppy lbs due to excessive carbs. I cant quite recall your frequency and dose, but I would sure be starting to wonder at this point in time.

LillGuy, I am almost positive it’s not his gear that is the problem. His source is a very good one, an honest, reputable guy.

I really do think this is a lifestyle problem, and nothing else. If I didn’t know otherwise, I would agree with you.

He’s getting exactly the results he deserves to get.

classic.

You’re doing great bambino !!!

ps> pullups every day was a great idea. you should try and do some in the shower too… is the rod strong enough?

You’re absolutely correct sir. Maybe if i was actually somewhat consistent with getting in the amount of meals I should be eating, I would make some decent results. Since this isn’t happening, I have to deal with the half-ass results.

Tawney…

neither you nor your husband Al have been here very long. And you haven’t contributed much either. However, Al is an excellent example of someone on TRT. That’s all fine and dandy.

However, the problem I have with that last post is the fact I have never read of you making any effort to try and make a contribution to jake and his cycle in any positive way. That being the case, I don’t think you have any room to give him shit. Sure, he’s being a royal dumbass and has horrible plans, assuming you can call them plans since they’re unpredictable as hell. Next time you try and tear someone down, at least have tried to help me first. Otherwise you just look like an ass.

So great job!

World

Jake brother don’t afraid of the fork man.
Carry a back pack and fill it with non-perishable foods, carry it with you everywhere. Sometimes I have to force it down too. Keep it up man, diet is 70% of the battle in your 1st cycle IMO.

So World if I’m reading this right, your only allowed to give someone shit if you offer them insight or good advice on something and if they choose to not listen then we can rip em. Does this apply to everyone?

O ya. I’m not being a smartass. I’m just wonderin. Sorry.

Egg

The point was that prior to tawney’s comment he/she had made no attempt at giving jake any sort of aid whatsoever. He/she therefore had never wasted any time or effort, and shouldn’t really give much a fuck about how he fucks his body up.

It pisses me off when people just jump on the bandwagon of tearing someone a new asshole when they have no previous interaction with the individual at the center of said debate.

So yeah, I don’t think it’s anyone’s place to insult and tear down when they have given no prior effort to advice or constructive criticism.

World

I’d like to back this up. There are a lot of folks on this board, I have noticed, that have jumped all over Jake, and I’m positive these same people would have kept their mouths shut about the exact same subject matter if it had not been for all of the fervor. All of the fervor, however, came from people who were all offering constructive criticism, and these people only became derisive after their good advice was spurned.

It seems like from the moment all of that happened, a bunch of other guys that wanted to be accepted by the vets on a steroid forum decided to do what mobs do, and light up their torches and take up their pitchforks and everybody make Jake their scapegoat. It is ridiculous, and to those of you who have done so, your behaviour is shameful. And I am in complete agreement with World. On this particular issue and this series of threads, there have been a lot of sheep and a whole lot of mob mentality. And I’m glad it’s finally being laid out on the table.
