It's a Tough Choice. Or Is It?

i would pick #2 without any thinking. Eat but not fat is my biggest dream

I was about to choose the second one, but then realized that I’d probably end up eating all the dang time! Even if that constant intake of food didn’t make me fat, it would mess with digestion… and who cares if you’re lean when you’re always bloated? Am I overthinking this? LOL

So 20% strength it is!

With all that eating don’t forget the time you would spend in the bathroom…LOL

Wise choice to go with the strength

Wait, so i get a free squat workout with it too?

I prefer to superset almost all of my compound movements with a long drawn out body weight paused squat single. It’s one of the powerlifting secrets.

Honestly, if there were a third option of ā€œeat whatever you want and not get digestive symptomsā€ i’d 100% pick that.

@mnben87 when i used to lift in the garage, my other half always knew when it was squat or deadlift day because i’d come back in after 10mins for an emergency squat session.

@cdep89 i have to say the most disappointing thing about getting older so far has been that i can no longer eat cheese without doing a full risk assessment.

If I discovered a magical genie lamp that could grant me 3 health & fitness-related wishes, perfection digestion would 100% be my first wish. It’s something we all take for granted until it goes wrong.

The genie would probably be Dan John wearing a red sash and a golden earring.

That’s not doing it right, though! You aren’t meant to think through the consequences. You’re supposed to say ā€œI want to be the biggest bodybuilder in the world!ā€ and then be shocked and dismayed that the genie makes you a 600 lbs behemoth that can’t walk upstairs.

And the genie should look like Erin Stern in her red jumpsuit!
