Ah thanks. I’ll fix it in the morning; not like there’s much to see even lol. That’s odd though I’ve never had that trouble with my other vids. Must be because this was the first time I attempted to upload to YouTube directly from my phone.

The gain train has never been the same after we lost Mike Hedlesky from the gain train. ![]()
But damnit, everyone get on the gain train!
Where do I buy the tickets for the gain train?
In every monolift, power rack, and in the middle of every quality hamburger.
I hate that platform and that bar lol. Shame we couldn’t be in DC at the same time.

Dips:
+45lbs 15x
+45lbs 15x
+45lbs 15x
Card cardio with dips, blast strap flys, pullups, and 90lb KB swings. Didn’t like that exercise selection. It was too easy. Dips aren’t difficult enough with this if they’re the only tricep movement, so next time I need to weight the dips a little bit, and replace flys with another pure cardio movement. Possibly even double up on swings.
Was a decent enough day especially considering I benched heavy on Monday. Granted I used to do like 5 sets of 3 with 290 followed by a set of 5. But! This new form is more strict than I was back then, and I think it’ll be better.
Meh learn to bench heavy 3x a week.

Every moment you’re not benching heavy, your body is getting better at not benching heavy.
Adapt or die.

Csulli, that makes me sad. I didn’t deadlift conventional for months, and got a 30 pound PR. If I deadlifted three times I week I should have gotten a 50 pound PR. ![]()
If you cannot tell, that is for humor. I am not saying anything about your methodology… I just think westside is the best side for me. ![]()

I just cannot let go of any lift for long enough to give westside a shot. Plus I have no idea how to properly program it. I just get confused haha.

It’s not that bad after you break it in. Essentially it is: Attack your weaknesses with assistance/accessory work, build mass near your elbow joint, on your back, and around knee joint, get strong muscular, and large abs/oblique/erectors, attack ME exercises that carry over to your lifts with three reps at/over 90% of your daily max (this can be a triple too as that is 90%), and use various DE cycles.
If you were to train Conjugate, you would definitely hit PR’s even if you really fucked it up. That would be from just simply handling weight in the 90-100% range, learning how to REALLY strain, and actually learning how to apply a lot of force to the bar very quickly.

I don’t know why they always mod said post when I make it. Everyone else’s seems to go through just fine. Makes no sense to me.

Much to my dismay I was unable to make it to the gym Friday, so I did Friday’s and Saturday’s workout back to back.
Deadlift:
135 5x
225 5x
315 3x
405 1x
455 2x
Speed Deads:
365 3x
365 3x
365 3x
365 3x
365 3x
365 3x
Three circuits of 8 reps of stiff legs with 315, bent rows with 185, supine grip lat pulldowns, and hyperextensions with a bar behind my neck.
Me and a few others were planning to go watch our friend’s olympic lifting meet that afternoon, so I was under time pressure. As a result I did that entire back workout with basically zero rest time.
Press:
45 5x
95 5x
115 5x
135 5x
155 1x
165 1x
175 3x
155 5x
Did a few sets of 5 strict pressing the log. Very awkward to strict press that.
DB Press:
70’s 10x
70’s 10x
70’s 10x
Cable Curls with Fat Bar:
whole stack 10x
whole stack 10x

Incline Chest Supported DB Curls:

30’s 10x
30’s 10x
30’s 20x
Cable Curls Again:
5 sets of 10
Rope Pushdowns:
5 sets of 10
Didn’t even take me 3 hours.

Lol. Great stuff. How’d your friend do at his meet?
9/29/2013
4 40 yard spri ts at the track
Went to the soccer field and did this hellish ladder thing. The field was divided up evenly into like 7 portions. We ran to the first line and back, then the second one and back, then the third and so on. once we finished we did it in reverse, runnin to the end of the field and backk, then the second to last line and so on until we were back to running to the first line and back.
Then we went to the bleachers. We started at the steps on one end and jumped up to the top 4 steps at a time. Then we went to the next set of stairs and did it again. There were 10 sets of stairs in total.
Then me and Chia went to the park. The outdoor gym (aka the playground) was crowded today. Had to share the equipment with a lot of 5 year olds.
Did 5 sets of 10 pullups and 5 sets of 20 dips there.
This isn’t even my final form.

He did good. Set a big snatch PR and a small meet PR in the c&j. I have seen him hit 145kg in the gym, but he missed it at the meet unfortunately. They kind of screwed him though cuz he had to make his third attempt right after his second (no other lifters attempting that weight in between) and you are supposed to get 2 minutes, but he only got like 20 seconds.

What program are you running? It looks pretty badass. It also appears that you have been having some great lifts recently. Do you feel close to PR’s?
