Is my Bench Shirt too Big?

I just got my Titan fury today, which I ordered off liftinglarge.com, I have a 44 inch chest, so I got a size 46, like the chart said to get. I dont have anyone to help me get it on till monday, but of course, I tried it myself.

I can get my arms in the sleeves and it over my head, but I cant pull the sleeves past my elbow. If I can put it on this far does it mean its to big?

It depends. I am a 50 inch chest and my 46 Fury takes almost 500 to touch, so if you are a 500 bencher it is too big. i can only guess at this but if you can BP 400 it might be right.

What is your raw bench and bodyweight?

Hahaha, well to be honest Im at about 305 RAW. Im only 15, and this is my first shirt. Im at about a 245 bodyweight.

Are you using plastic bags on your arms to help slide the sleeves up??

If you’re just pulling it along your bare skin and you can get it that high then i’d say it probably is a bit too big…

You need to have someone help you put it all the way on. It’s too early to tell if it’s too big. A way to tell if it’s too big is to get the shirt seated and then pull your arms out to the side as if doing a bench press negative. If your arms reach your side, it’s pretty loose.

As Hanley said, if you don’t have suit slippers, use some grocery store plastic bags to help slide the shirt up the arm. This will make life much easier.

Also, do yourself a favor and read the “how to use a bench shirt” article on liftinglarge. It has step by step instructions to get the most out of the shirt.
