I have to say, the white knights are very funny at the least.
It’s never OK to hit anyone, but sometimes situations will warrant it. There are countless situations where I would deck someone, that doesn’t mean I think it’s a good thing. Then again, when I fly off the handle, I really lose it, so I try to avoid those situations. Last fight I was in I went out of my way to break a guys arm.

Well she was friends of an ex and she never liked me i never really like her, she was talking shit about me for seriously no reason (she was drunk and I was ignoring her) and then I started talking some shit back, she was getting loud, i then proceeded to make fun of her appearance (disecting her from head to toe i must admit it was not very nice, i probably attacked every insecurity she had from her messed up looking feet, to the hair on her arms, to the size of her nose, shit almost sounded rehearsed) I then looked over at her boyfriend and I said “Hey man curb your dog” she snapped and came at me, she later yelled at her guy for not coming at me, but that guy wouldnt dare fuck with me. I must admit i did completely humiliate her in front of a lot of people I said everything negative about his girl imaginable that nobody ever had the balls to say out loud. I guarantee she cried that night. Im not proud of it though. From her point of you i probably humiliated her to the point where she thought the only way to save face was to swing at me.[/quote]
Aside from tearing her a new one, I think this is how you should handle it. The girls were probably giving you dirty looks for how mean you were, not how you restrained her.

My most recent ex and I had just moved in together. She went out with some friends and came home drunk. She started chirpin’ about who knows what and I wanted no part of it. Logically, my not wanting to fight got her even more riled up and she got to talking shit. She goes into the bedroom and slams the door. I carry her to the bedroom, throw her on the bed, run to the door, close it and prop one of the dining room chairs under the door handle so she’s locked in the bedroom.

You completely misread my post. I never mentioned taking a woman down as the only option. I have worked as a bouncer for almost 10 years and employ the necessary level of force. A crazy woman who is attacking me is getting thrown about 20 feet or getting choked out. Just not punched…there is too much stigma involved in hitting a woman. A woman without a weapon is not a serious physical threat to me.
One time at the club, we were kicking this guy out and her girlfriend tried to claw my eyes. I threw her so hard her shoes came off. No great feat, though, she weighted about 80 pounds. Outside she proceeded to call the cops the N word and spent a nice night in jail.

I’m amazed this thread is still going. Mak, Prof. X, Lew, and several others are realists. And I definitely appreciate “real.” I’ve spent almost a decade bouncing at the clubs, as well. I’m currently in a combat zone where these lil fragile women, that most of you “white knights” keep on a pedestal, are side-by-side with us men, trying to stay alive by any means necessary. Same place where some women will pick up a weapon and kill us. Or blow themselves up to kill us.
This is true in the states and elsewhere. Women may be the supposed ‘weaker’ sex, but it doesn’t take a tremendous amount of power to incapacitate a man. I’m not walking away from shit. That involves turning your back, and that is something common damned sense tells me not to do. Just as I’m not going to merely take a hostile woman down on the ground and hold her. Especially if there are more of you “white knights” around. In any physical conflict, it’s them or me. Where you decide to put yourself in that equation is on you.
