@CT Is buying a slam ball (med ball) worth it? Are medicine balls really effective at fat loss or at increasing power to justify buying them?
Whenever I do med ball slams they feel to be working. Try to hit the ceiling with it! I usually superset them with heavy front squats.
buying a ball, No… using a ball for quick sets of 25 or more, Yes.
We have a couple of them and they up my heart rate as well as our battle ropes. They probably cost less.
I will say that the quality is questionable. both of our initial ones busted within a couple of weeks.
we recently upgraded to a better set that seems to be holding up much better

I’d agree with that… there are many more things I would invest in before a slam ball
Battle Rope slams are a great alternative to slam ball slams. And then with the ropes you have many more imo effective exercise options.
