Oh, boy does it.
You look great, nlmain!
Thanks Snap !
deadlift
135lbs 1x8
185lbs 1x4
205lbs 1x2
225lbx 1x1
235lbs 2x1 - PR! it was an ugly fight for lockout but I got it. Note to self: no deads in shorts. They hurt my shins and the bar drags along my quads which hinders my lockout.
185lbs 1x3
155lbs 1x5
DB step ups to bench - did these to work on balance. Bitches are tough.
40lbs 3x8 each leg
leg raise
75lbs 3x12
cable crunch
85lbs 1x12
95lbs 2x12
close grip cable row
75lbs 1x12, 2x8
eats:
oates, pp and cranberries
spinach salade with salmon, avocado and a splash of good olive oil
post workout: pp and a banana
supper tuna and salsa sandwhich with a handful of grapes.
Cheerios darlings. I’m off to dream of Blue in that sweet belt ![]()
Try knee socks with shorts. They’re required at meets. I always feel like leggings create drag (probably just psychological . . .)
Umm . . . so 235 was a PR and then you jumped to 285? I’m assuming that was a typo?
def a typo Snap - seen and corrected. Thanks
I need to find myself some Brute socks in rainbow stripes!
^ it was just your wishful thinking taking over ![]()
we’ll get there someday!

Use knee socks. At a meet we typically use baby powder on our thighs. You can see on this picture where I normally put it. However, it makes a big mess. It’s not recommended for commercial gyms but I use it at home when I’m maxing.
Nice pictures! You look great! And the baby abs are just in time for summer! =D
Nice DL-ing PR! GEEZ I can’t wait to lift heavy again! =-/
I save the powder for meets. It’s such a treat. I powder my forearms as well for the big pulls.
hey!!WORD!
you can tell the rest wanna bust out real soon, i spotted the ab picture! way to go!
Love the baby abs! And yes, lifting does the body good - i wish more women would see this.
Sweet DL PR! I agree, no shorts for DLing. But maybe with socks that wouldn’t be so bad…
O: you look darn cute in that picture
I’ll keep the powdered thighs in mind. If ever I make it to a real gym I’ll bring the socks and baby powder along. That should amp my deads to like 500lbs right?!
MM: thanks for dropping by! and my PR’s are your warmups. Once you start lifting heavy again I’ll have to crawl back in my corner…nah, actually you will keep inspiring me to give it all I’ve got.
Snap: I’m trying to understand why you need to powder the arms?? once again I need some educamating…
Brute: Thanks:) yesterday I ate a bunch of bite size pretzel peanut butter caramal Supreme Bars while watching the third season of Dexter…ah well two steps forawrd one step back.
Masch: problem with socks is once the bar hits my thighs. I’ll just make sure to be wearin the longer pants when pulling deads in the future. When the load is a bitch to lock out the last thing you want is drag on the thighs.
Those abs will look especially nice in your sexy bikini this summer. IMHO, the only way not to eat pretzel peanut butter caramel Supreme Bars is not to have them in the house.
235 lbs. is awesome! Congrats on pulling that. Now to make it pretty next time. ![]()
I wear shorts to DL and just deal with it…
super pretzel supreme caramel thingies sound dangerous!! But I relate to having those things in the house staring at me in the face…I just have to say ‘thats not my food!’
easier said, right?

Because I pull conventional, my arms contact the outside of my thighs on the way up. Powder reduces all friction.
Nice pullin’! Your abs look about the same as mine except that I have this annoying bagel thing going on. Grrr!
