Iron in the Blood

Thanks Snap & Blue -

My rackpulls are above the knee - hence not THAT fabulous. I want to get used to pulling that 300lbs above the knee and then plan to drop the pegs bellow the knee for the added challenge. As in all heavy stuff my grip is my main enemy.

Great job on the PR! Sounds like a super day in the gym. I love those days.[/quote]

That’s what keeps my going back

Nice job! That is alot of plates to be doing stuff with.

I completely agree that you never can tell – feel shitty sometimes equals great gym days.

WOW!! Awesome work on the rack pulls. Nice work girl!

Wanted to celebrate this milestone in my life- my first string bikini ever! Oh I’ve had bikinis before but with the full belly covering pants. Can’t wait to wear it in Cuba!!

Now T- because I like your fine ass that much, and in the name of good fun, here are my progress pics.

Here’s front December 3rd 2009

back - same date

taken this mornin in ma new bikini

can’t do the back posses very well…well you get the idea.

Haven’t lost a single pound for those wondering and yet I see and feel a difference.

just for shits and giggles here’s a picture taken of me in august 2009: smoking a pack a day, drinking numerous bottles of wine a week and eating far to much cheese. Started lifting again by the end of october so those first pics are 2 months into my program.

You are rockin’ that suit, girl!

Now THAT’S what we’re talkin’ about! Very, very hot are you in that new bikini. Those Cuban boyz will have themselves a nice Quebecoise eyeful.

Maybe you haven’t lost a pound, but that waist has definitely lots inches and inches. Excellent work!

I’m also betting your skin looks alot better without the smokes and an excess of vino.

wow wow wubzy!! :stuck_out_tongue:

all your hard work has paid off…

Thanks Snap & MIM - there’s still some work to be done but I’m very glad of where am at now.
Kimba: the skin, the hair, the nails all started looking better but the best part is mentaly feeling better.

Today’s workout:
Decided to take it outside in honor of the beautiful 25 degrees weather we are having. There was no way in hell I was locking myself up inside. So I took a cue from those of you who have done cardio using weighted jackets and filled a big packsack with 35lbs of weight. I fast walked outside for a solid hour and finished with 5 sprints the lenght of the blocks resting when crossing the streets. My legs and shoulders feel fried. Good stuff.

Cheers
N

happy happy happy dance for you Nlmain! wow-great progress you’ve made. you are lookin great! me reading that you have not lost a pound but lost the inches is comforting to read. you definitely can see the inches lost! you have got some abs there too, missy!

and for the record, my ass is not all that. i could take a picture that is not flattering and then all the sweet ass comments would probably go away.

back to you- fantastic work woman! AAAAANNND-you echoed what Alisa said…you are “very glad of where you are now” you should be!

I definitely see a difference. Maybe you haven’t lost weight but you’re quite a bit tighter in the stomach department. Good for you!

Thanks T and Alisa - considering that this is my 5 month progress and that I still do endulge in my weekly glass or 2 of wine and around 2 social meals a week, I’m pretty happy. I’m hoping another 5 months will work on the hips, thighs and butt more but I also want to keep hitting some PR’s. I’m just going to see where my current food and workout habits take me.

T- I was actually a little afraid that the lighting would wash out my baby abs and then I’d hear you call me out. I was like, “you guys better not get camera shy on me or you will be punished thoroughly.” sin of vanity on easter weekend. that can’t be good. lol.

I LOVE your bikini, and you look super hot in it!! Very nice abs, nice upper back definition (despite the posing troubles), and amazing progress in five months! You are WAY leaner.
