Me: “So you don’t eat meat, dairy, eggs, nuts or use protein powder?” Response= “Nope, and I’m fine”
Is that right…even after having the rest of this conversation, I still wanted to sleep with the girl. Strange but true. Get all hot and sweaty, roll her around in chocolate protein powder, and eat her like a fudge bar, which was about how big she was. I usually don’t go for grown females that have the body of an eleven year old boy (or do I?), but alas, I was not meant to be. “A mixed green salad and dressing has plenty of protein in it.”

…is that right…?[/quote]

I’d stay away from that if I were you, it might be catching…

mmmmmmmmmmmmm…no.

“She don’t like meat but she sure likes the bone”…it had to be said.

P.S. training still sucks, but I’m coming around.

Sounds like a different kind of training goin’ on. And that kind of training is perfectly OK! Have lots of fun Zman.

No DZ, I couldn’t make her a ‘training partner’, she wouldn’t go for the protein idea.

B.T.W…I did a thing called (I think) A DEADLIFT today? I can’t explain it, and I don’t know what it’s for really…training still sucks, but I’m coming around.

Nice choice Steely. Saw those guys on their first real tour here in Denver. The opening “act” was the “Jim Rose circus side show”…or some dam thing. Sadly, I was to busy drinking out in the alley to see any of it. Good show. Haven’t kept up with that band, but I did like them.

My backside hurts, and I still can’t feel my hands…lifting-deads hurt so good. I’ll try them again sometime if I can remember what they were.

SmackDown everyone.

Face pulls, overhead shrugs, dips+hanging shrugs, high-power rows, clean&press (from floor), bent BB rows, db curl&press, heavy ab stuff.

Mid&upper back, shoulders, traps, neck, ears…tri & bi’s…all hurt. Bad. Abs are fine, thank god for that. This all or nothing routine I’ve been on is total bullshit. Whoever said I should try it is an A-Hole.

WWF forever.

This is a cute story, but first a question for all who reads…“Do you think it’s a good idea to bring fireworks into a hospital?” And then when questioned about them, because they’re sticking out of your bag to pull one out and say “wanna see how they work?”.

Every time I think I know how F**cking stupid people can be, I come back to work and realize I really had no idea. If it weren’t for the camera systems we have, I wouldn’t last a month here before getting fired. At the press of a button, I can record live video (plus audio) of myself and a large area around me. Perhaps I should take all the video, sell it to You-tube ect, and retire to a tropical island (before I’m put in jail)…Seriously, what else do I really have to do with my life.

Happy 4th, Try not to be an A**Hole. Or at least, let me make sure I’ve got you on camera first.

This was 3 hours ago, and I still can't really make a strong fist! Feels pretty good to be moving weight again. Funny how that works.

And thanks for your help Mod Laurie, I guess I wasn’t being patient anough when posting.

Z-Man Rocks: Drongo plays the drums! on Vimeo

I feel I’m owed an apology. Why? 'cause I tried some crazy stuff that you guys all do, and I almost died! Could’ve happened…

After a warm-up not worth mentioning:

     RDS's: up to a 5x5@ 225...don't know why.

ZERKER SQUATS : Did I spell it right. Well I don't care! I almost tore my arms off !!! Can I wrap the bar with stuffed animals or something? Jeez-o-petes...Just tried some at 135 and Dam...I'm glad I was alone in the gym is all....3x8@135, and they sucked....hang on...

…what was I saying?

Just to feel better about myself: Deads @ 225 3x10 with 5 doubles after each set. (cluster-doubles?). Now this was fun, do 10 then pause for a three count (that’s a perfect 3 of course), then 2,then again…you get the idea. I do feel better, but it was harder than it should’ve been.

Over-heads : These sucked as well, 2x8@90 (yeah)…8x3@135, also not great. But I went quick between sets, which was not pleasant either.

And some dam thing after that also…who knows really, Next time will be better I suppose…WORD.

I use a piece of old carpet myself. Doesn’t help much though.

ROFL, yeah Zerchers eat me arms too…

I just need to pack some meat(balls) on my spagetti arms…maybe that’ll help. The chicken legs may take more time to grow back…but the traps, love-handles and bald head are going strong. Real strong. That carpet things a nice touch though…

A New Start. 8.4.09

Circut #1: Dips 4x12
front squat 4x12@135
high-pull/press 4x6each@90…Smooth,constant tension for all.

        Back squat: 3x10@185 alt. with
     standing calf: 3x12@185

Rack pull: 2x8@225/ 3x5@315 alt. with
seated overheads: 2x8@135/ 3x5@155....couldn't do both in the power rack, so seated smith presses had to do.

  Cable crunch/renagade row super-set: 8 crunch+ rows to fail @ 40's...3 times.

Got things moving again.
Overheads will now be called D.C.A's (BTW).
Felt good, almost like I was training.

Note to self, if you start to complain, read this.

After three years at my hospital, I’m changing my schedule. After about 8 years of working and playing at night, I’m going to start working 3 days, 8am-4pm, and two 4-midnights (been working all swings until now).
I’ve been advised that I’ll need to use what’s been called an “alarm clock”, as my shift starts during what I think is the “a.m.”. I guess that’s when the sun comes up or something, I only see that when I’m up all night! I’m planning (or hoping?) for good things to come out of this move. Perhaps a happier, healthier and more productive person than what I’ve been for the last 4-5 months. Get my eating back in order, my training back together, and lift some heavy stuff again…

Gee, what a swell idea.

That sounds like good news! The swings can be tough on the inner clock and I don’t even want to talk about gaveyard shift. Enough of those and you don’t even feel human after a while. I hope you can move into all day shifts in short order.
